Bangladesh Navy 2024-B DEO batch written test results are out now with the test held on January 26. Under the circular, the authority will recruit graduates as Direct Commissioned Officer.
Earlier, online application process lasted till January 10, 2024.

What are the requirements for Bangladesh Navy officer?
Aspirants need to meet the following requirements, among others, to be eligible for application for 2024-B DEO Batch :
For Engineering & Electrical Wing—Male :
a. Age not over 30 as on July 1, 2024 (affidavit not acceptable in support of age limit).
b. BSc Engineering in Naval Architecture/Mechanical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering with GPA minimum 3.0 out of scale 4.00.
c. GPA minimum 4.5 in both SSC and HSC Exams.
d. Being unmarried.

For Education Wing (male & female) :
a. Age not over 30 as on July 1, 2024. However, barristers or those with PhD in Law will receive relaxation in terms of age requirements.

d. Being married/unmarried.
General Requirements (applicable to all wings) :
Besides, applicants need to maintain the following conditions which are applicable to all wings :
a. Height for male is 162.5 centimeter (5 feet 4 inches).
b. Height for female is 157.48 centimeter (5 feet 2 inches).
c. For male, weight is 50 kg while for female it is 47 kg.
d. Chest measurement for male is 76 centimeter (30 inches) in natural state and 81 centimeter (32 inches) in expansion.
e. Chest measurement for female is 71 centimeter (28 inches) in natural state and 76 centimeter (30 inches) in expansion.
f. Only Bangladeshi nationals.

Navy Commissioned Officer Selection Process :
Bangladesh Navy Commissioned Officer selection process consists of the followings steps : Primary Medical Checkups & Primary Interview, Written Test, ISSB Exam & Interview, Final Health Checkups and Final Selection.
Primary Medical Checkups & Primary Interview :
Initial medical checkups and interview sessions are scheduled to take place from January 21 to 25, 2024 at Bangladesh Navy (BN) College, Dhaka, Mirpur-14.
Written Test :
Written test is scheduled to be held on January 26, 2024 (subject to change). The test will consist of Reasoning or IQ (not applicable for Engineering & Electrical Wing and Education Wing (Engineer), English, General Knowledge and subjects they studied.
The exam venue is the same (Navy College at Mirpur 14, Dhaka).
Other steps such as ISSB Exam & Viva, Final Health Check-up and Final Selection will follow the Written Test. Successful candidates out of the written test will face ISSB Exam which usually takes place at Dhaka Cantonment.
They need to undergo final medical test at the very time of ISSB Test. At the end, final selection of candidates overcoming ISSB hurdle will take place through interview which will be held at Navy Headquarters, Dhaka.

Papers to Submit During Primary Interview :
Applicants need to attach the following documents with Form Commission-2A :
- One (1) copy of attested fresh color passport size photograph.
- Attested photocopies of all academic certificates and mark sheets.

2. Applicants under Freedom Fighter Quota will receive priority in landing the job as per the existing government rules (subject to fulfilling all conditions).
Attention : Upon final selection, candidates will join the force as commissioned officer in the post of Acting Sub-Lieutenant on a five (5) year short-term or permanent commission. Later, they will receive extension or permanent status.
