BIWTA Job Circular 2022 : 87 Posts

BIWTA (Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority) opens a circular to fill up some 87 posts under 17 categories. Online application process ended June 5, 2022.

1. Junior Assistant Naval Preservation & Operation Caretaker (2 posts) 2. Assistant Eco-Sounder Engineer/Assistant Mechanical Engineer/Assistant Telecommunication Engineer (1 post) 3. River Surveyor (1 post) 4. Assistant Director (2 post, Human Resources/Administration) 5. Assistant Director (1 post, Marine Safety) 6. Trainer (Deck, DEPTC, 3 posts) 7. Junior River Surveyor (3 posts) 8. Caretaker cum Maintainer, Store Assistant & Assistant (13 posts) 9. Assistant & Treasurer (1 posts) 10. Welder (2 posts) 11. Typist or equivalent (1 post) 12. Driver (2 posts) 13. Greaser (6 posts) 14. Laskor (41 posts) 16. Office Assistant (4 post) and others.

BIWTA Job Requirements :

Aspirants need to meet the following requirements to be eligible for application depending on their preferred positions :

For Assistant Director Post :

Minimum second class post-graduation degree with second class graduation (honors) Or first class post-graduation degree in any field from any recognized university. Age limit is in between 21 to 30 years.

For River Surveyor/ Assistant Director (survey) Post : Graduation in Hydrography or Oceanography with Mathematics Or Post-graduation degree in Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics/Geography/Geo-Nature or Nature Geo-Science. Age limit is in between 21 to 35 years.

For SSB Operator/Wireless Operator Post :

Trade Certificate with SSC Or second grade wireless operating certificate with equivalent certificate from Armed Forces.

For Traffic Supervisor Post : Workable Typing knowledge with HSC Certificate.

For Office Assistant Post : SSC or equivalent pass.

Age Requirements :

For applicants of children of Freedom Fighter or Martyred Freedom Fighter and the disabled, the age limit is 32 years maximum. But for applicants of nephew or niece of freedom fighters, it is maximum 30 years as of May 1, 2022.
