Nuclear Power Plant Company Bangladesh Ltd opens two separate job circulars to fill some 44 posts in total. Online application process has begun from March 13 and and ends at 11:59 pm April 4, 2024.

Nuclear Power Plant Company Bangladesh Ltd (NPCBL) is an enterprise of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission.

Nuclear Power Plant Company Vacancy 2024 In Details : 

As per one circular, the authority will recruit professionals to the following posts :

1. Deputy Manager (IT & Communication, 1 post) 2. Senior Assistant Manager (Occupational Health & Labor Safety, 1 post) 3. Junior Crane Operator (8 posts) 4. Foreman (Mechanical, 7 posts) 5. Lab Technician (Physics, 8 posts).

As per the other circular, the recruitment will be made to the following posts :

1. Junior Technician (Electronics, 3 post) 2. Junior Technician (Cooling & Air Conditioning, 3 post) 3. Junior Lab Technician (Physics/Chemistry, 3 posts) and 4. Rigger (10 posts).

Nuclear Power Plant Company Bangladesh Job Application Requirements :

Interested persons will need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application against their post of choice :

Deputy Manager (IT & Communication) :

Post-graduation or four year-long Bachelor or BSc Engineering degree in the subjects of Applied Physics & Electronics/Electrical & Electronic Engineering/Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering/Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering/Information & Communication Engineering/Information Technology/Computer Science & Engineering/Information & Communication Technology, obtained from any recognized university.

Plus minimum seven (7) years of experiences along with two (2) years of experiences with any reputed organization in the role of Senior Assistant Manager or equivalent positions in the field of IT & Communication.

Senior Assistant Manager (Occupational Health & Labor Safety) :

Having post-graduation or four year-long bachelor degree in Physics or Nuclear Engineering Or BSc Engineering in any subjects obtained from any recognized university. Besides, four years of experiences in the field of occupational safety and/or industrial safety with any known organization.

Junior Crane Operator :

HSC or equivalent level pass from any government-approved institutions. Besides, minimum twelve (12) years of relevant experiences with crane operation license or heavy vehicle license.

Foreman (Mechanical) :

HSC (vocational) pass in Machine Tools Operations & Maintenance/Mechanical Technology with twelve (12) years of relevant experiences for any recognized organization.

Lab Technician (Physics) :

HSC (Science) or equivalent level pass in science discipline from any govt-approved institution along with six (6) years of related experiences.

Rigger :

HSC or equivalent level pass with one year of relevant work experiences.

Junior Technician (Electronics) :

Possession of HSC (vocational) in Electronic Control & Communication/Electronic Technology or equivalent science education obtained from any government approved educational institution.

Finally selected candidates will have to undertake a ‘Surety Bond’ to serve the company for a period of minimum ten (10) years since joining.

Rooppur Power Plant Fire Station Job Requirements :

Aspirants need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application :

Deputy Manager Post :

Minimum bachelor degree or equivalent obtained from any govt approved educational institution with GPA/CGPA 3.50 out of 5.0 or GPA 2.50 out of scale 4.0 or minimum second class/division in case of earlier assessment method.

Besides, they must have ‘Fire Safety Manager Course’ training or equivalence with Fire Service & Civil Defense Department plus a certain year of working experiences.

Assistant Manager :

The requirement is the same as what is for the post of Deputy Manager. However, age limit is maximum 35 years.

Senior Fire Officer :

The same as what is for the post of Assistant Manager. Notably, having four years of experiences in the role of Station Officer or equivalent plus age limit is 32 years to the highest.

Fire Supervisor Post :

HSC or equivalent level pass with GPA/CGPA 3.50 out of 5 and 2.50 out of 4.0 in both SSC & HSC or their equivalence. Besides, fifteen (15) years of experiences in fire fighting along with five (5) years of experiences in the post of Fire Leader or Fire Supervisor or equivalent level.

And age limit is maximum 40 years.

Fire Leader Post :

The same as the above post. In addition, they must have received this training ‘Fire Science & Occupational Safety Course’ with Fire Service & Civil Defense Department. Furthermore, they have to have minimum ten (10) years of experiences as Fire Fighter. In terms of age, it is maximum 35 years.

Senior Office Assistant :

Having at least bachelor degree or equivalence obtained from any govt approved educational institution with GPA/CGPA 3.50 out of 5.0 or GPA 2.50 out of scale 4.0 or minimum second class/division in case of earlier assessment system. Plus they must have ten (10) years of experiences as Office Assistant and age limit is 35 years.

And age needs to be maximum 35 years.

Senior Sub-Assistant Engineer (Electronic Maintenance) Post :

Diploma in Engineering degree in Electronic Technology/Data Telecommunication & Networking Technology/Telecommunication Technology/Computer Technology/Computer Science & Technology from any government approved educational institutions under the Technical Education Board.

In addition, four-year working experiences in the role of sub-assistant engineer/sub-assistant manager or equivalence in security related equipment maintenance work with any known organization. And age needs to be maximum 35 years.

Senior Sub-Assistant Engineer (Special Technical Means) Post :

The same as what is for the post of Senior Sub-Assistant Engineer (Electronic Maintenance).

Inspector (NPP Station Security Patrol Examination) Post :

HSC or equivalence from any government approved education institution under any education board. Besides, minimum four-year of working experiences as second class officer with Armed Forces/Bangladesh Police or any other law enforcement agencies. And age limit is maximum 45 years.

Vehicle Inspector Post :

Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) or equivalence from any education institution under any education board. Besides, minimum four-year of working experiences as second class officer with Armed Forces/Bangladesh Police or any other law enforcement agencies along with valid driving license. And age limit is maximum 40 years. However, those with heavy vehicle driving license will receive priority in securing the job.

Technician/Fitter Post :

HSC (vocational) or HSC (Science) or equivalent-level pass in the field of Electronic Control & Communication/Electronic Technology/Electrical Works & Maintenance/Electrical Technology/Computer Technology/Computer Operation & Maintenance from any government approved educational institutions under the Technical Education Board.

Besides, minimum six-year of working experiences in electrical or electronics related work with any known organization. In terms of age, it can be maximum 32 years.

Other Mandatory Requirements (Applicable to All Posts) : 

For the above posts, applicants will have to meet the following conditions also :

1. GPA or CGPA minimum 4.0 out of scale 5.0 or minimum 3.0 out of scale 4.0 (Or first class or division under old result system) in each public exams.
2. Given the work nature, only male persons are eligible for application.
3. Skills in computer application particularly MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Unicode Typing.
4. Height minimum 5 feet 4 inches and chest measurements 31 inches in natural state & 33 inches in extension.
5. Age maximum 30 years as on the last date of application submission. However, for applicants related to freedom fighter or martyred freedom fighter, the age limit is 32 years.
6. Good verbal and written communication skills in both Bengali and English.
