Roads & Highways Department Internship Circular 2024 : Application Deadline March 15

Roads & Highways Department (RHD) opens internship circular 2024 inviting applications from concerned graduates with application deadline March 15, 2024.

Interested Bangladeshi graduates must apply in prescribed form which they can collect from the department website (rhd.portal.gov.bd).

As per the circular, the authority will provide only four (4) internship opportunities of three months period each to eligible candidates for the year of 2024.

What Are Application Requirements for RHD Internship?

Interested students will need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application for the internship :

1. Being Bangladeshi citizens.
2. Bachelor/Post-graduation/equivalent level pass in Civil Engineering under any recognized university or shown appeared in the concerned examination. Testimonial issued from the concerned institution confirming that applicant has passed the exam concerned.
3. Application must be within two years of passing the exam—bachelor/post-graduation or equivalent exam.
4. One can avail the internship under the Roads & Highways Department (RHD) only once according to the Internship Guidelines 2023.
5. No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued from the concerned organization, applicable to on-job applicant only.
6. Only Civil Engineering degree holders are eligible for application for RHD Internship.

What About RHD Internship Application Process?

Interested graduates must apply in prescribed form which they can collect from the ‘Notice’ menu in the following website :

rhd.portal.gov.bd

Then they will fill up the form properly and submit it, either by post or in-person, to the following address :

Executive Engineer, Roads & Highways Department, Admin & Recruitment, Sarak Bhaban, Tejgaon, Dhaka (Room No. 505, Block-A).

Remember that the deadline to apply is March 15, 2024.

Documents to Submit During Viva-Exam :

Eligible candidates will have to demonstrate original copies of the following documents during viva encounter :

1. Certificates of all academic exams.
2. Transcript of BSc Engineering (Civil Engineering).
3. Character Certificate issued from the institution applicants last attended.
4. National ID Card.
5. Nationality Certificates issued from the concerned body.
6. Three (3) copies of fresh passport size color photograph.

Notably, applicants must submit one set copy of all the above-mentioned documents upon demonstration of them during the viva-voce.
