Jashore University of Science & Technology (JUST) admission circular for the Department of Physical Education & Sports Science (PESS) for academic year 2023-2024 is open with application deadline February 29, 2024.
As per the circular, the authority will enroll students into the four-year long bachelor program in the department of Physical Education & Sports Science.
What Are The Requirements For JUST Physical Education & Sports Science (PESS) Admission?
Interested students will need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application :
- SSC & HSC combined GPA must be minimum 7.0 with SSC & HSC GPA each minimum 3.0 including fourth subject in any discipline or group. Besides, they have to secure minimum 40% marks each in written & practical parts of admission test.
- For athletes, combination of SSC & HSC GPA must be minimum 6.0 with GPA in each exam minimum 2.50 including 4th In addition, they have to obtain minimum 30% marks in written part and 50% marks in practical part of the admission test.
- HSC or equivalent exam passing year must be in 2022 & 2023.
- Being permanent citizens of Bangladesh. However, international students can also apply for admission into the program. For that, they have to contact ‘International Service Center’ at the university.

When Is Application Deadline?
As mentioned above, online application process is already underway from 12 noon February 12. And the last date & time to apply is 11:59 pm (night) on February 29, 2024.
What About The Application Fee?

Admit Card Download Period :
Applicants can begin downloading their admit cards from April 14, 2024 onwards.

JUST Sports Science Admission Test Dates :
The admission test will take place on April 18 from 11 to 12 noon at the university campus. The test results will be out by April 20, 2024 on the JUST website.
JUST PESS Admission Test Method :
Admission test of JUST PESS Program consists of 100 MCQ Type questions. Of the marks, 20 marks for Bangla, 10 for English, 40 for General Knowledge (GK) (20 for Sports related GK & the rest 20 for other types of GK), 20 marks for practical exam and the test 10 marks from SSC & HSC results.
How Many Seats Are Available for JUST Sports Science Bachelor Program?
There are 30 seats in total available for the program. Of the figure, 20 seats are reserved for National Team Players (NTP) or National League Medal Winners (NLMW). The rests are for all general students.
