IBA-DU BBA admission circular for session 2024-2025 is expected to be available in January 2025.
For the academic year 2023-2024, the written test took place on February 10 preceded by application process from January 1 to 22, 2024. As per the circular, the authority enrolled students in 32nd batch of the BBA Program for the academic year.
What are the requirements for IBA BBA?
Aspiring students need to meet the following requirements, among others, to be eligible for application for BBA 32nd Batch Admission Test :
For SSC Or HSC Level Aspirants :
Students who have passed HSC or its equivalent exams in 2023 are eligible to apply. They must have SSC & HSC combined GPA minimum 8.0 including 4th subject with GPA minimum 3.5 in both the exams.
What is the minimum GPA for IBA DU BBA Admission?
For IGCSE/O-Level & IAL/GCE A-Level or Equivalent level Students :
Students who have passed IGCSE/O-Level exam with at least 5 subjects including mathematics during 2018-2021 and IAL/GCE O-Level exams with at least 2 subjects (final result of at least one subject must have been published in 2023) are eligible for application.
Besides, out of the seven subjects in IGCSE/O-Level and IAL/GCE A-Level, candidates should have achieved minimum 2 ‘A’ grades, 3 ‘B’ grades and 2 ‘C’ grades.
Candidates from O-Level, A-Level and from other boards outside the country have to obtain ‘Equivalent Certificate’ from IBA before making application. For the certificate, concerned students need to visit the DU admission website at https://admission.eis.du.ac.bd
Those who have already received their ‘Equivalent Certificate’ while applying for other units of DU, need not apply for the certificate anew.
Aspirants who has already done registration for admission into any units of DU—Ka, Kha, Ga or Fine Arts—can make application directly for ‘IBA Unit’ admission. For that, they just need to do login with their username & password, deposit application fee of Tk.1500 and apply. The others need to apply following guidelines mentioned in the circular or on the admission website.
IBA-DU BBA Admission Ineligibility :
Those who appeared for any admission test of DU including IBA in 2023 or before will not be eligible to apply for this year’s admission test.

IBA BBA Eligibility For Foreign Candidates :
Foreign students with a score of at least 1300 out of 1600 in SAT Reasoning Test (with at least 600 in Math and 575 in Reading & Writing) may get exemption from Written Assessment Test but they must appear for the Communication Test.

According to the circular, candidates can download their admission test admit cards from January 31 till 3.00 pm February 7.

IBA BBA Selection Process :
All Bangladeshi applicants must take the admission test. The test has two components: written and communication. The Written Test assesses the applicants’ aptitudes in : Language Mathematics, and Analytical ability.
To qualify in the Written Test, an applicant must obtain a minimum qualifying score in each of the above areas. Applicants will be selected for the Communication Test on the basis of their performance in the Written Test. The final selection for admission will be based on the scores obtained by an applicant in the Written Test and the Communication Test.
Final Selection & Registration :
The final selection for admission will be based on scores obtained by an applicant in the Written Test and the Communication Test. Selected candidates should obtain the prescribed University admission form from the BBA Program Office and submit the completed form along with four passport-size and one stamp-size photograph and other documents as outlined in the form within the stipulated time to the BBA Program Office. Candidates who have completed the above formalities will then pay the requisite fees as determined by IBA.

Written & Oral Parts of Communication Assessment :
As per the announcement, the written and oral parts of the Communication Assessment will take place on February 19, 2024. The written part involving only successful candidates out of written test will commence at 8 am on the day. And the oral session will play out as per the schedule mentioned above.
IBA BBA Admission Date 2024 (Student Information Form Fill-up) :
The authority now ask the finally selected candidates to visit https://admission.eis.du.ac.bd to fill up the Online Student Information Form over a period of time.
In order to complete other necessary formalities regarding BBA Program admission, the BBA authority is asking the candidates to report to the BBA Program Office from 9 pm to 4 pm over the period of February 22 to 25, 2024.
As part of the admission process, candidates must carry the following documents :
- Original Admit Card.
- Original copies of all academic credentials such as Grade Sheets/Transcripts, Certificates & Testimonials along with a copy of each document.
- Three attested copies of BBA Admission Test admit card.
- Four attested copies of passport size color photograph.
