Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University, Bangladesh (BSMRMU) opens a job circular to recruit faculty members for three departments. Deadline to apply is this December 10, 2023.

As per the circular, the authority will recruit teachers against the following departments :

1. Professor or Expert for Department of Maritime Science, no. of vacancy 1.
2. Assistant Professors for Department of Maritime Law & Policy and Department of Port & Shipping Management, no. of vacancy 1 respectively.

Aspirants need to meet the following conditions, among other, to be eligible for application :

For Planning Officer Post :

Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering/Architecture/Urban and Regional (URP) Planning from any recognized university.

For Assistant Network Engineer Post : 

Four year-long BSc Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology or BSC (Honors) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent degree.

For Hardware Technician Post : 

Diploma in Engineering in the field of Computer Technology under Technical Education Board Or minimum six (6) month long certificate course in Computer Trade along with HSC or equivalent examination pass under any education board.

Here not that skilled and efficient army persons (retired) are also eligible for application for the above positions.

N.B : Age limit is maximum 30 years, which is applicable to all the positions. However, for retired army persons, the age requirement will receive relaxation.
