Department of Military Lands & Cantonments (DMLC) opens a job circular to recruit teachers for different educational institutions situated in cantonments & run by the Cantonment Board. Online application deadline is this February 27, 2024.
The Department of Military Lands and Cantonments (DMLC) is an important department under the Ministry of Defense.
DMLC Job Circular 2024 Breakdowns :
As per the circular, the authority will recruit teachers to the following positions :
- Inspector (Botany 2 posts, Chemistry 2 posts & Physics 1 post) 2. Assistant Teacher (Information & Communication Technology, 2 posts) 3. Assistant Teacher (Physical Education, 2 post) 4. Junior Teacher (Physical Education, 1 post) 5. Junior Teacher (Islam & Moral Studies, 5 post) and 6. Junior Teacher (65 posts).
DMLC Job Application Requirements :
Interested students will need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application :
Inspector (Physics, Chemistry & Botany) Post :
Bachelor/Bachelor (honors) degree or equivalence in related subjects with CGPA minimum 2.25, obtained from any recognized university.
Assistant & Junior Teacher (Physical Education) :
Having bachelor or equivalent degree and B.PEd degree Or bachelor degree from any recognized university & Junior Physical Diploma.
Junior Teacher (Islam & Moral Studies) :
Possession of Fazil or equivalent degree.
Junior Teacher :
Minimum bachelor degree with CGPA at least 2.25.
Notably, GPA below 2.50 & CGPA below 2.25 is acceptable in only one exam including SSC, HSC or their equivalent exams and Bachelor, Bachelor (honors)/Post-graduation or their equivalent examinations, respectively.

Age Requirements :
For all general applicants, age limit is maximum 30 years as on February 27, 2024. However, for those related to freedom fighter or martyred freedom fighter, minorities group and the disabled, it is maximum 32 years as on the same date. No affidavit is acceptable in support of age.

Application Fee :
The application fee varies from post to post. For posts under serial no. 1, 2 & 3, the fee is Tk.500 while it is Tk.300 without service charge for posts under serial no. 4, 5 & 6.
Note that, among the posts of Assistant Teacher (Physical Education) and Junior Teacher (Physical Education), one can apply for only one post.
Selection Process :
Aspirants will have to face two stages of selection process—Written & Viva Exams. However, there may be preliminary exam ahead of the first two steps, depending on the authority.
