Mawlana Bhashani Science & Technology University (MBSTU) MA in English Literature (EL) and English Language Teaching (ELT) admission circular for academic session 2022-23 is now open. Online application process is already underway with deadline December 24, 2023.
MBSTU MA ELT ET & ELT Admission Process :
Interested persons can collect MA in EL and ELT Course application form from the following website :
Then applicants can submit filled-in application forms either by post or in-person along with Bank Draft/Pay Order of Tk.1000 and all other required documents.
They have to make the Pay Order/Bank Draft in favor of Chairperson, Department of English, Sonali Bank Ltd., Mawlana Bhashani Science & Technology University Branch.
Admit Card Collection :
Applicants need to collect their admit cards at the time of submitting application forms. In case of application sent by post, applicants will receive their admit cards by email.
MBSTU MA ELT EL Admission Requirements :
Aspiring students need to meet the following requirements, among others, to apply for the programs :
1. Four year Bachelor (honors) in English from any UGC approved or recognized university or institutions with CGPA minimum 2.25.
2. Those who passed their Bachelor honors degree in 2020 and subsequent years will be eligible for application. That means study break can be maximum two (2) years after the publication of Bachelor honors results.
3. On-job applicants must apply through proper channel.

Papers to Attach with Application Forms :
Admission aspirants need to attach the following documents with their application forms :
1. Attested photocopies of all academic certificates and mark sheets in support of qualifications.
2. Attested photocopies of National ID Cards or Nationality Certificate.
4. Two copies of attested fresh passport size photographs.
5. Attested photocopy of testimonial issued from the educational institution that applicant last attended.
MBSTU MA EL ELT 2023 Admission Test Date :
Admission test for MA in English Literature (EL) and English Language Teaching (ELT) Programs will take place on January 12, 2024. For EL Program, the test timing is 11 :00 to 12:00 pm. while for ELT Program, it is 2:30 to 3:30 pm.
Results of the test is expected to be out on January 16, ,2024 followed by interview of successful candidates on January 19 from 10 to 3 pm. Final list of successful candidates will be available on January 21, 2024.
