The Prime Minister Education Assistance Trust (PMEAT) under the Secondary & Higher Edu Department, Ministry of Education invites applications from university students to provide scholarships and select ‘Bangabandhu Scholars’ among them. The last date of application submission is this March 28.

The scholars selection and scholarship awards initiative have been taken on birth Centenary celebration of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, aiming to acknowledge and encourage meritorious post-graduate students from both public and private universities in the country.

Scholarship Eligible Disciplines : The disciplines in which PMEAT scholarship Awards will be given out are the followings : Social Science, Business Studies, Science, Physical Science, Law, Biological Science, Medicine, Fine Arts, Engineering & Technology, Arts & Humanities, Agricultural Science, Education & Development and Madrasa Education. 

To note, there is only one scholarship available for each above disciplines.

Application Process : All applications must be made through designated forms which can be found at the Prime Minister Education Assistance Trust website. All necessary instructions regarding applications are also available on the website which is :

Application Destination : Filled in applications with all required papers must be submitted, either in person or by registered Post, to the following address within the specified time :
