JU Weekend Masters in Environmental Sciences Admission 2024 : Deadline April 23

JU (Jahangirnagar University) Masters in Environmental Sciences & Management admission circular for Summer 2024 is open with application deadline April 23.

Department of Environmental Science at the university offers the one year-long weekend program.

JU Weekend Masters in Environmental Sciences & Management Program Features :

The weekend program on environmental sciences has the following features :

1. Duration is one (1) year comprising of three (3) semesters.
2. Classes only on Fridays & Saturdays (Half day).
3. International standard faculty members.

JU Weekend Masters in Environmental Sciences Major Areas :

The program major areas are the followings :

1. Industrial Health, Safety and Environmental Management (IHSEM).
2. Industrial Ecology, Waste Management and Waste-Water Treatment (IEWWT).
3. Climate Change and Disaster Management (CCDM).
4. Ecology, Biodiversity and Nature Conservation (EBNC).

JU Weekend Masters in Environmental Sciences & Management Admission Requirements :

Interested persons will need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application :

1. Minimum four (4) year bachelor (honors) degree Or three (3) year honors & one (1) year masters degree in any relevant discipline or subject.
2. Those with academic degree or professional experiences related to environmental science/study/engineering/management/policy/compliance will receive priority in securing admission.
3. No third class/division/CGPA below 2.50 at any level of education is acceptable.

Important Dates To Remember Regarding WMES :

As mentioned above, the last date to collect & submit application form is April 23, 2024.

Applicant can download their admit card till 10 pm April 24 followed by admission test at 10 am on April 26, 2024.

The admission test results will be out on April 27 followed by admission from April 28.

Orientation and classes are set to begin from May 3, 2024.
