BSc in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing Science & Midwifery and Diploma in Midwifery Courses admission circular for academic year 2022-23 is now open. Online application process begins from March 15 and ends on April 13.  

Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery Council published the circular in several daily newspapers on March 10, 2023. 

Nursing & Midwifery Admission Test Date :

As per the circular, admission test of BSc in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing Science & Midwifery and Diploma in Midwifery Courses was held on May 26 from 10 am to 11 am instead of May 19 mentioned in the circular. 

Nursing & Midwifery Council Admission Test Results 2023:

The results of the admission test are published on May 27 which candidates can see in this website : www.bnmc.gov.bd.

BSc Nursing and Diploma Nursing Course Admission Requirements :

Aspirants need to meet the following qualities, among others, to be eligible for application :

1. Common Qualifications : Having passed SSC or equivalent exam in 2019 or 2020 and HSC or equivalent exam in 2021 or 2022.
2. Bachelor of Science in Nursing Course : For Science group students, combined CGPA of SSC and HSC or their equivalent exams is minimum 7.0 but GPA must be minimum 3.0 in either of the exam and GPA must be minimum 3.0 in Biology in both the examinations.
3. For Diploma in Nursing Science & Midwifery and Diploma in Midwifery Courses : Combined CGPA of SSC and HSC or their equivalent exams is minimum 6.0 but GPA must be minimum 2.50 in either of the exam. These requirements are applicable to students from any groups.
4. Being permanent Bangladeshi citizens. 
5. Notably, for Diploma in Midwifery Course, only female applicants are eligible for application.

Application Period :

Online application process begins from 10 am March 15. The last date and time to apply is 11:59 pm April 13. To note, the deadline to make payment of the fee is 11: 59 p.m. August 27.

Application Fee :

For BSc in Nursing Course, the fee is Tk. 700 while it is Tk. 500 each for Diploma in Nursing Science & Midwifery and Diploma in Midwifery Courses. Applicants have to deposit the fee by SMS through any Teletalk prepaid mobile number. Notably, they will be able to deposit application fee till 11:59 pm April 15. 

Admission Test System :

The admission test will be based on 100 marks MCQ type written questions.

For BSc in Nursing course, the subject-wise marks distribution is 20 each for Bangla & English, 10 marks for Mathematics, 30 for Science (physics, chemistry & biology) and 20 for General Knowledge.

For Diploma in Nursing Science & Midwifery and Diploma in Midwifery courses, the marks distribution is 20 marks each for Bangla & English, 10 for Mathematics, 25 each for General Science and General Knowledge.
