DU (Dhaka University) Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) Program admission circular for year 2024 (14th batch, July-December) is open with application deadline April 22.
Department of Accounting and Information Systems at the University of Dhaka offers the two (2) year-long program covering 17 courses with 51 credit hours.
The Department of Accounting and Information Systems is ranked among the top 300 universities in the QS World University Rankings 2022 in the subject category.
Dhaka University MPA Admission Requirements :
Interested persons will need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application :
- Bachelor degree in any discipline with minimum second class/division/CGPA 2.50 on a scale of 4.0 plus at least work experiences.
- One year work experiences is wavered for current students of ICAB, ICMAB, ICSB, ACCA, CFA and other professional bodies.
- Members from ICAB, ICMAB, ICSB, ACCA, CFA and other professional bodies will enjoy exemptions from the written test. However, they have to face viva exam.
MPA Program Admission Process :
Aspirants can apply either online or offline. For offline application, they can collect the form from MPA Office by paying Tk.1,500.

Application Submission Deadline :
The last date and time to submit application form is from 2 to 9 pm everyday till April 22, 2024.
Admission Test Date :
The admission test is scheduled to take place at 3 pm (written part) and 5 pm (viva-voce) on April 26, 2024.
MPA Admission Test Format :
The admission test syllabus involves MCQ & Descriptive type questions on English, General Knowledge, Mathematics and Basic Accounting.
