Dhaka City College Bachelor Admission 2024 : Application Period Jan 22 to Feb 11

Dhaka City College Bachelor (Honors) admission circular for academic year 2023-2024 is open with online application period January 22 to February 28, 2024.

Note that application deadline has been extended to February 28 from February 11, 2024. So there is time to apply for admission into bachelor honors courses.

Dhaka City College Bachelor (Honors) Admission Requirements :

Admission seekers need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application:

1. For Humanities group students, GPA needs to be minimum 3.0 in SSC or equivalent exam passed in 2020/2021 and GPA at least 3.0 with fourth subject in HSC or equivalent exam passed in 2023/2022. However, the combination of GPA involving both the exams must be at least 6.5.
2. For Science and Commerce group students, GPA minimum 3.0 in both SSC (passing year in 2021/2020 and HSC (passing year in 2023/2022) or their equivalent exam including fourth subject. However, SSC & HSC or their equivalent exams’ combination of GPA must be minimum 7.0.
3. Successful students will get the subject for bachelor honors admission only from the subjects they read in HSC or equivalent level study. They have to have GPA minimum 3.0 in the subject they read at HSC or equivalent level for admission into the subject at bachelor study.
4. Those with only HSC vocational, HSC Business Management and Diploma in Commerce level pass under Bangladesh Technical Education Board are also eligible for application if they meet the Section 1 Kha conditions.

What Subjects Are Available for Bachelor Honors Study At Dhaka City College? 

Currently the college offers the following subjects at bachelor honors level :

Bangla, English, Economics, Accounting, Management, Marketing, Finance & Banking.

Notably, the classes of Bachelor (honors) for academic year 2023-2024 are scheduled to begin from March 10, 2024.

Dhaka City College Bachelor (Honors) Admission Process :

Interested students will first need to apply through the following website :

http://www.nu.ac.bd/admissions

In fact, applicants will first require to click ‘Apply Now’ (Honors) option under Honors Tab at the above link.

Then they will fill up the online application form there with both SSC & HSC or their equivalent exams’ roll numbers, registration number, Education Board name/University, Passing year and a registered mobile phone number.

Besides, they need to upload scanned passport size fresh color photograph.

Subsequently, they will require to submit the filled-up forms by clicking ‘Submit Application’ button, download it and have a print copy of it.

At the final stage of the application process, they will need to submit the printed application forms along with attested photocopies of SSC & HSC or their equipment exams’ mark-sheets and TK.350 as primary application fee to the Office of Dhaka City College.

Applicants can submit their printed Application Form from January 23 to February 28, 2024 from 9 am to 5 pm on every working day.

And the fee for initial application is Tk. 350.
