Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh (PCB) opens a job circular to recruit people in 18 vacant positions with deadline to apply 4 pm July 16, 2023.
PCB Vacancy Call In Details :
As per the circular, the authority will recruit people for the following positions :
- Assistant Director (4 posts) 2. Assistant Registrar (1 post) 3. Assistant Exam Controller (1 post) 4. Assistant Director (IT, 1 Post) 5. IT Officer (3 posts) 6. Ucchamaan Assistant cum Cashier (1 post) 7. Office Assistant cum Computer Operator (3 post) 8. Dispatch Rider (1 post) 9. Office Assistant (3 posts).
Job Application Requirements :
Aspirants need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application :
Assistant Director Post :
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) with second class or equivalent CGPA from any recognized university. Besides, having Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh registration in ‘A’ category.
Assistant Registrar & Assistant Exam Controller Posts :
The same as what is for the post of Assistant Director.
Assistant Director (IT) Post :
Bachelor (honors) or equivalent degree in Computer Science/Computer Science & Engineering/Information & Communication Technology with second class or equivalent CGPA from any recognized university.
Besides, applicants have to pass Standard Aptitude Test (SAT) related to programming. And they have to be Associate Member of any professional Computer Society.

IT Officer Post :
Four-year long diploma degree in Computer Science/Computer Science & Engineering/Information & Communication Technology with second class or equivalent CGPA from any recognized institution.
In addition, applicants have to pass Standard Aptitude Test (SAT) related to particular subjects.
Ucchamaan Assistant Cum Cashier Post :
Bachelor (honors) or equivalent degree in Business group with second class or equivalent CGPA from any recognized university. Additionally, they have to have minimum three (3) years of experiences in accounting activities plus training on computer operation.

Age Requirements :
For all general candidates, age needs to be in between 18 to 30 years as on June 15, 2023. However, those related to Freedom Fighter or Martyred Freedom Fighter and the disabled, age can be maximum 32 years as on the same date.

Application Fee :
The fee for application for the posts under serial number 1 to 4 is Tk.600, for post under serial no. Tk.500, for posts under serial number 6 to 7 Tk.200 while for the posts under serial number 8 to 9 is Tk.100.
Applicants need to pay the fee as Bank Draft/Pay Order in favor of Bangladesh Pharmacy Council.
