BPDB Job Circular 2023 : 98 Deputy Assistant Engineer Post

BPDB (Bangladesh Power Development Board) job circular 2023 to recruit people to 98 Deputy Assistant Engineer posts is now open. Online application process begins from 9 am June 22 and ends at 5 pm July 6, 2023. 

According to the latest BPDB circular, the authority will recruit people for the post of Deputy Assistant Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Power/Civil). 

BPDB Job Application Requirements : 

As per the circular, aspirants need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application : 

Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Civil Engineering/Power Engineering with GPA minimum 3.0 in either SSC/Equivalence or Diploma Engineering. Notably, those with GPA below 2.25 in any level of examinations are not eligible for application. 

Age Requirements : 

For all general candidates, age range must be in between 18 to 30 years as on June 22, 2023. But for the son or daughter of martyred Freedom Fighters/Freedom Fighters and the disabled, the age limit is maximum 32 years as on the same date.

Notably, as per the Ministry of Public Administration circular issued back on September 22, 2022, those fall within the age range are also eligible for application for the job.

Application Fee :

The exam fee is Tk.556 only with Teletalk Service Charge which applicants need to pay by any Teletalk prepaid mobile number within 72 hours of application submission. 

Here note that the authority will not accept any applications unless the fee payment is made within the timeframe.

Chemist (no. of post 9) 5. Purchase/Store/C&F Officer (no. of post 5) 6. Assistant Security Officer/Regional Intelligence Officer (no. of post 2).

Job Requirements :

Interested persons need to fulfill the following qualities to be eligible for application against their chosen posts :

 Assistant Director (Administration) Post : Having first class post-graduation Or second class post-graduation with second class (or equivalent CGPA) honors degree. But results below second 2nd class/division/equivalent GPA or CGPA is not acceptable. And for divisional candidates, have to bachelor (honors) degree with minimum eight (8) years of experiences in related lower post.

Assistant Director (Security & Inquiry) Post : Having first class Post-Graduation Or second class Post-Graduation with second class (or equivalent CGPA) honors degree. But results below second 2nd class/division/equivalent GPA or CGPA are not acceptable. And in cases of divisional candidates, they have to have bachelor degree with minimum eight (8) years of experiences in related lower post.

Assistant Director (Public Relations) Post : Having first class Post-Graduation with honors degree in Journalism Or second class Post-Graduation with second class (or equivalent CGPA) honors degree in Journalism.

But results below second 2nd class/division/equivalent GPA or CGPA are not acceptable. However, those with five (5) years’ of journalism experiences in any National Daily will receive preferences in landing jobs.

Chemist Post : Having first class Post-Graduation degree in Chemistry from any recognized university Or second class Post-Graduation with second class (or equivalent CGPA) honors degree in the same subject field.

But results below second 2nd class/division/equivalent GPA or CGPA are not acceptable. However, those with five (5) years’ of journalism experiences in any National Daily will receive preferences in landing jobs.

Purchase/Store/C&F Officer Post : Having first class Post-Graduation degree Or Post-Graduation with second class (or equivalent CGPA) Bachelor degree. But results below second 2nd class/division/equivalent GPA or CGPA are not acceptable.

And in case of divisional candidates, they must have bachelor degree and minimum eight years of experiences in relevant field with minimum three years’ experiences in the post of Store Keeper-C/Jetty-Supervisor-B/Stock Verifier/Customs Clearing Inspector at the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB).

 Assistant Security Officer/Regional Intelligence Officer Post : Second class Bachelor degree with minimum five (5) years’ of experiences in Security & Search activities. But results below second 2nd class/division/equivalent GPA or CGPA at any level of education are not acceptable.
