Admission test dates of all public universities including medical colleges, institutes & academies for year 2022-2023 have been announced. One needs to read the below text to know all public university admission test dates in Bangladesh.
Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) :
The admission test for academic year 2020-2021 is scheduled to take place on November 12 from 9:30am to 11:30 am. The center of the test will be confirmed later by SMS, which will be available in the BUTEX website also.
Earlier, the admission test was re-scheduled to be held from 9 : 30 to 11 : 30. on August 20. But due to the Covid-19 related restrictions, the test had been suspended.

CUET, KUET & RUET Combined Admission Test :
The first year (level 1) honors admission test of CUET, KUET & RUET is rescheduled to be held on November 13, says a new notice issued on September 15. This is the third time that the test date is reset due to the pandemic situation in the country.
According to an earlier notice issued on May 26, the combined admission test was scheduled to be held on August 12, the revised date.
As per the initial circular, the test was scheduled to be held on June 12, 2021.

Admission Test will have 500 marks for ‘Ka’ Group while that for ‘Kha’ group is 700. Admission test for ‘ka’ group will take place from 10 a.m. to 12:30 noon on June 12 while ‘Kha’ group test from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. on the same date.
To note, there will be negative marking of 25 percent from the allocated marks for every MCQ questions.

Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) :
First year honors admission test of BUET is re-set to begin from the month of October with preliminary selection exam being held on October 20 & 21. And the final admission test is fresh-scheduled to take place on November 6, 2021.
According to the earlier schedule, Primary Admission Test was expected to be held on June 30 and July 1. And the final admission test was scheduled to take place on July 10 instead of June 10, the initial date.

Seven Agriculture University (under a single cluster) : Now scheduled to be held on November 27 instead of September 4, the earlier date. Initially, the first year admission test was scheduled to take place on July 31.
Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from October 24 onwards, reads a notice available at the cluster admission website (www.admission-agri.org).
Test Method : Admission Test will be of 100 marks MCQ type questions. Of the marks, 15 each for Zoology & Botany, 20 each for Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and 10 marks for English.

Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) : First year honors admission test has already taken place. Earlier the tests were scheduled to be held on May 28 & 29 for academic year 2020-21. Admission process of first year students is on now upon publication of admission test results.
Initially, the test was scheduled to take place on February 26 and 27. For details, please visit the university website at :
University of Dhaka : The admission test dates of DU have been rescheduled. As per the fresh reschedule, the test will now begin on October 1 instead of July 31. The test of ‘Ka’ Unit will be held on October 1 followed by ‘Kha’ Unit on October 2, ‘Cha’ Unit (Drawing) on October 9, ‘Ga’ unit on October 22 and ‘Gha’ unit on October 23.
And the admission test of BBA, IBA, DU has been rescheduled to now be held now on October 11 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Admit card can be downloaded from 12 pm October 3 to 12 pm October 11. The test was scheduled to be held on July 30.
According to the earlier scheduled, the admission test was expected to begin on July 31 with ‘Cha’ unit followed by ‘Ka’ unit on August 6, ‘Kha’ unit on August 7, ‘Ga’ unit August 13, ‘Gha’ unit on August 14.

Jahangirnagar University (JU) : The test schedule has been published with the test beginning on November 7.
According to the schedule, the test of ‘A’ Unit will be held on November 20 & 21 instead of November 7 & 8; ‘D’ unit test on November 9 & 10; ‘H’ and ‘G’ Units on November 11; ‘B’ Unit on November 14; ‘F’ and ‘I’ Units on November 15; ‘E’ and ‘C1’ Units on November 16 and the test of ‘C’ Unit will be on November 18, 2021.
The change has been made just to the test dates of ‘A’ unit. There have been no other changes in the admission test schedules.
JU Admission Test Schedule 2021 :

However, admit cards download process is going on now. Candidates can download their admit cards from the admission related website given below.
First year (honors) admission application process has continued from June 20 to August 14. Admission process will follow traditional route like previous years this time also.

University of Rajshahi : The results of ‘A’ Unit and ‘C’ Unit admission test, held on October 5 & 4 respectively, have been published on Sunday night, October 10. Candidates can check their results at the following website (admission.ru.ac.bd).

Subject Choice Form Fill-Up :
Those who become successful in ‘A’ Unit admission test will now need to fill-up ‘Subject Choice Form’ online from October 13 to 16 while Subject Choice Form fill-up for successful candidates of ‘C’ Unit will last from October 13 to 18.
Admission Notice for Tribal Quota Candidates :
Selection interview of Tribal Quota Candidates will take place from 9 am to 5 pm on November 15, 2021. The schedule is applicable to all units—- A, B & C. For details, one needs to see the circular in the below image :

Candidates who turn out to be successful in Unit-A and Unit-C admission tests respectively need to maintain the things mentioned in the notices below in terms of getting admission into their respective subject under the corresponding unit.

‘A’ Unit Test was followed by ‘B’ Unit test which was held on October 6 and ‘C’ Unit on October 4. Initially, the test was scheduled to be held from June 14-16.
The first year honors admission tests for academic year 2020-2021 at RU were held under three units in three shifts— 9 : 30 to 10 : 30 Morning, 12 noon to 1 p.m. and 3 to 4 p.m. over afternoon.
RU Admission Test Method :
The University of Rajshahi admission test method will be of MCQ Type questions. There will be 100 marks in total involving 80 questions with each question carries 1.25 marks. The duration of the exam is one (1) hour. To note, there will be negative marking of .20 marks for every wrong answer.
It should be noted that, all types of electronic and mobile devices such as mobile phone, calculator, headphone, memory-attached watch, bags are prohibited from carrying into exam halls.

20 Public University (Under GST Cluster) :
First year (honors) admission test for academic session 2020-2021 at 20 universities, both General, Science & Technology, will take place under three units—- Unit A for Science Group, Unit-B for Humanities Group and Unit-C for Business Group.
The admission test for the 20 universities is scheduled to begin from October 17. As per a latest decision taken by the Admission Committee, the admission test of ‘A’ Unit (Science Group) will take place on October 17, ‘B’ Unit test on October 24 and the test of ‘C’ Unit (Business Group) on November 1, 2021.
Admit Card Download : Downloading admit cards is off now. Again from October 14 onward, examinees will be able to download their admit cards.
In the first phase, candidates could have downloaded their admit cards from 12 pm October 7 to 11:59 pm October 9.
Here to note that the first year honors admission test for the 20 universities under a single cluster had been deferred several times given the Covid-19 situation in the country.
According to the earlier schedule, ‘A’ Unit test, slated for June 19, was followed by ‘B’ Unit (Humanities) on June 26 and ‘C’ Unit (Business Studies) on July 3.

University of Chittagong (CU) : First year honors admission test for year 2020-21 at University of Chittagong has been deferred by two more months. According to a fresh schedule, the test will now be held from October 27 to November 5 instead of August 20-27, 2021.
Admission test at CU is held under four units and two sub-units.
As per the fresh timing, the test of ‘B’ Unit will be held on October 27 & 28 followed by ‘C’ unit on October 29, ‘D’ Unit on October 30 & 31, ‘A’ Unit on November 1 & 2 and the test of ‘B-1’ & ‘D-1’ sub-units on November 5.
Previously, the test schedule was —–‘A’ unit on June 28 & 29, ‘B’ Unit on June 22 & 23, ‘C’ Unit June 30, ‘D’ Unit June 24 & 25, ‘B1’ Unit July 1 and ‘D 1’ Unit on July 1, 2021.

Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology, Gazipur (DUET) : First years BSc engineering & Architecture admission test is set to take place on September 29 & 30. The tests will he held in two sessions : first session from 10 am to 12 noon and the second one from 2 pm to 4 pm.

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Ramhan Maritime University Bangladesh (BSMRMU) :
The first year (honors) admission test is scheduled to take place on November 19 & 20. That’s as per the latest schedule.

Armed Forces Medical College and 5 Army Medical Colleges : Fresh test date not announced yet. The written test was scheduled to be held on April 9. But suspended due to the covid-19 pandemic.

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) : Admission test for July 2021 session of M.Phil, M.MEd, MPH & Diploma programs was already held, which was initially scheduled to be held on April 9.

Dental (BDS Course) College : First year BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) course admission test for academic year 2020-2021 was held on September 10. The result of the test was out on September 12, 2021.
According to the initial circular, the admission test was scheduled to be held on May 30. But it got delayed due to the covid-19 situation in the country.

National Institute of Traumatology & Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR) : First year BSc in Physiotherapy course admission test was already held. Selected candidates are instructed to take admission from September 26 to October 7 by 2 pm. Candidates shall have to produce their all original certificates on the day of admission, otherwise the
selection will be treated as cancelled.
Admission Test Method : Admission test will be of 100 marks MCQ type questions. Of the marks, 30 each is for Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 10 for English & General Knowledge.
It should be noted there will be negative marking of 0.25 for every negative answer provided by the candidates.
