You have SSC or equivalent level certificate? Then there’s a chance to build a career with Bangladesh Army as the force opens a circular to recruit Sainik (Soldier).

In this article, application guidelines for Army Sainik post are discussed in step by step which applicants will surely find helpful while applying.

Application process begins this December 1, 2021. Both male and female Bangladeshi citizens are eligibel to apply for Army Sainik Post.

Sainik Post Application Process :

To mention that the whole application process has three parts. First two parts involve sending SMS to 16222 through any Teletalk Prepaid Mobile Number.

And the third part relates to online application through this link (http://sainik.teletalk.com.bd).

Firstly, applicants need to send two separate SMS (one after one) through any Teletalk Prepaid Mobile Number.
In the first SMS, they need to provide their academic information like SSC (or equivalent exam) board, roll number, passing year and District Code etc.

After first SMS, applicants will receive a return SMS from the Teletalk with a PIN Number mentioned in it.
Then applicants will send a second SMS in which they will give their contact number (any mobile number) along with the PIN Number and their consent (YES).

Here note that there is no charge or fee for the first SMS but applicants have to pay Tk. 200 for the second SMS as Admission Test or Application Fee.

Therefore there needs to be more than Tk.200 in the mobile balance. Also note that first and second SMS must be sent to 16222 number.

Note : In case of female applicants, they have to type FSAINIK instead of SAINIK while sending first and second SMS.

Thirdly, after sending second SMS, applicants will get another SMS from the Teletalk in which they will have their User ID and Password.

With User ID and Password, applicants need to make online application by log-in into the following link at : http://sainik.teletalk.com.bd.

To note, applicants must upload fresh color photograph of 300 by 300 pixel. File size needs to be maximum 100 kb.

Sainik Job Requirements :

Interested youths need to meet the following qualities to be eligible for application :

For General Trade (GD), BNCC & Soldiers’ Son (SS) Quota : SSC or its equivalent like Madrasa/Technical/Open with GPA minimum 3.0. Female candidates with Science background will receive priorities in landing job.

In terms of age, it needs to be below 17 years & not more than 20 years as on February 5, 2023.

For Technical Trade : SSC Vocational with relevant technical subject and GPA minimum 3.0. Male and female who completed trade courses from Trust Technical Training Institute (TTTI) will be eligible to apply. However, for Technical Trade, one male will be eligible for application.

And in terms of age, it needs to be below 17 years & not more than 21 years as on February 5, 2023.

Height (for all Trades) : For male, it is at least 1.68 meter (5 feet 6 inches) while it is 1.60 meter (5 feet 3 inches) for female applicants.

Weight : For male, it is at least 49.90 KGs while it is 47 KGs for female candidates.

Marital Status : Being unmarried. Even widower or the divorcee are also ineligible for application.

Sainik Post Application Period :

As mentioned earlier, application process for the Bangladesh Army Soldier post begins from December 1. And the deadline to apply is December 31, 2021.

Admit Cards Download :

Applicants have to print or download their admit cards just after application submission. They will not be able to print admit cards after 72 hours of application submission.

So please get the admit cards printed just after application submission!

Admission Test Date & Place :

Candidates will be notified of admission test date & place by SMS from the Teletalk at least 72 hours ahead of their respective test.
