BSc in Physiotherapy admission circular of National Institute of Traumatology & Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR) for year 2022-2023 is now open. As per the circular, online application process begins from March 20 and ends on April 30, 2023.

BSc in Physiotherapy course is a five year program which is split into 4 year academic and 1 year compulsory internship. The course is under the Faculty of Medicine, University of Dhaka (DU). 

NITOR Admission Requirements :

Aspirants need to meet the following qualities to be eligible for application :

1. Minimum GPA 8.0 in SSC or equivalent and HSC or its equivalent exams combined in Science group with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. But GPA must be min 3.5 in either SSC or HSC exams.

2. For tribal candidates, SSC and HSC combined GPA must be min 7.0 but not less than 3.0 in either of the exams.

3. Those who passed SSC or equivalent exams before 2019 and HSC or its equivalent before the year 2021 are not eligible for application.

Note : There is one seat reserved for tribal candidates and 2 for Freedom Fighter Quota candidates.

The fee for application is Tk.1000 which applicants need to deposit through any Agrani Bank Online Branch before application. Applicants will have to upload money receipt scan copy while applying along with other things like applicant’s picture and signature.

NITOR BSc Physiotherapy Admission Test Date 2023 :

First year BSc in Physiotherapy course admission test is set to be held on May 19 from 10 to 11 a.m.

Exam Center :

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Academy (former Agargaon Taltola Government Colony School & Mohila College).

NITOR BSc Physiotherapy Admission Test Method :

Admission test will be of 100 marks MCQ type questions. Of the marks, 30 each is for Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 10 for English & General Knowledge.

Attention : There will be negative marking of 0.25 for every negative answer provided by the candidates.

Orthopaedic Hospital Physiotherapy Course Admission Procedure :

At the time of admission, successful candidates must submit their SSC, HSC or their equivalent exams’ original Certificates, Mark Sheets and Medical Fitness Certificates to the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR).
