Under the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Bangladesh Folk Art and Crafts Foundation hosts the award.
Zainul Abedin Lifetime Award Application Process :
Interested craftsmen need to apply in prescribed form which they can download from the following website :
Then they need to fill up the form properly and submit it to this address :
Director, Bangladesh Folk Art and Crafts Foundation, Sonargaon, Narayanganj.
Along with application form, aspirants need to attach all required things such as five crafts works etc.
Zainul Abedin Lifetime Award Prize Money :
The award winners will receive the following things as a recognition of their lifetime contribution to craft works in the country :
- Gold medal weighing one & a half bhori, Tk. 3 lakh check and a certificate.
This time, maximum two person will receive the award.
