The first year honors student admission process for academic session 2020-2021 at Rajshahi University will be getting underway from March 7 and continue till 31of the month. And admission tests are scheduled to take place from June 14-16.
The application process will have two phases. Students meeting all basic requirements will be able to apply in the first phase which will begin from 12 noon March 7 and last till 12 p.m. March 18. And second meaning final application phase will start from 12 a.m. March 23 and end on 12 p.m. March 31, 2021.
Test Format : This year the admission test will be MCQ based with 100 marks in total from 80 questions. There will be three units-A, B & C. In every unit, only 45k students will be allowed to sit for the exam ultimately.
It should be noted that all aspirants meeting certain basic requirements initially will be allowed to apply for depositing Tk.55 fee. But eligible number of candidates for each unit will be selected through further scrutiny based on their HSC results. Finally selected candidates for each unit will be required to re-apply for Tk. 1,100 fee to sit for the test.
Application Requirements : Candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible to apply :

2. For A unit (Humanities Students), SSC and HSC combined GPA must be min 7.0 with min 3.0 including 4th subject in each exam.
3. For B unit (Business students), SSC and HSC combined GPA must be min 7.5 with min 3.50 including 4th subject in any exam.
4. For C unit (Science Students), SSC and HSC results combined must be min 8.0 with min 3.5 including 4th subject in either of the exams.

Test Schedules : As per the latest announcement from the authority of Rajshahi University, first year honors admission exams will commence from June 14 with ‘C’ unit followed by ‘A’ unit exam on June 15 and ‘B’ unit on June 16.
