University Admission 2021 In Bangladesh : Some Circulars

First year (honors) student admission process for academic year 2020—2021 in universities and other higher education providers in Bangladesh has begun. Most of the universities and institutions have already issued admission circulars for the session. Application submission and exam dates vary from one university to another.

Followings are details on admission process of several universities in the country :

Bangladesh University of Professionals  (BUP) : 

Application process of students’ admission into Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) has started February 2 and  continued till 16 of the same. The fresh admission test date will be announced later. It should be noted that initially the admission test was scheduled to be held on February 26 and 27.

Marine Cadet Admission For Academic Session 2021-2022 :

Marine Cadet admission process of all maritime institutions including Bangladesh Marine Academy for academic session 2021-2022 is on now.

Application Deadline and Link : The last date to apply online is this March 5. To make application, students need to visit the following link at http://www.dos.gov.bd

Honors Admission At Rajshahi University : 

The first year honors student admission process for academic session 2020-2021 at Rajshahi University will be getting underway from March 7 and continue till 31 the same. But the test schedule is yet to be announced.

The application process will have two phases. Students meeting all basic requirements will be able to apply in the first phase which will begin from 12 noon March 7 and last till 12 p.m. March 18. And second meaning final application phase will start from 12 a.m. March 23 and end on 12 p.m. March 31, 2021.

National University Honors Admission Test 2021 : 

First year honors student admission process for academic year 2020-2021 at National University (NU) will start from June 8. The university announces through a press notice on February 25.

Six Agriculture Universities :
The first year honors Admission Test of six agriculture universities, united under a single cluster to admit students, for academic session 2020-2021 will be held on July 31 instead of May 29. The fresh date has been set at a meeting held at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agriculture University on March 2.

In addition, admission test for the same academic year of Patuakhali University of Science and Technology (PUST) will also take place on the same date.
Participating Universities : The six agricultural universities coming under the single cluster are Mymensingh Agricultural university, Sylhet Agricultural University, Khulna Agricultural University, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Chittagong Veterinary & Animal Sciences University and Sher-e- Bangla Agricultural University.

Requirements : The minimum requirements to apply is GPA 8.00 (excluding optional subject) in SSC and HSC combined. But the GPA must be minimum 3.50 in any of the examinations.

100 Marks MCQ Based Test :
According to the decision, the admission test will have 100 marks MCQ type questions in total. Further details on the application process will be announced later by newspapers and other means.

Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology, Natore :

Bangladesh Army University of Engineering and Technology, Qadirabad Cantonment, Natore has initiated student admission process for Fall 2020-2021. The last date to apply online is February 15. And admission test is scheduled to be held on February 16.
