American tech giant Apple March 27 unveiled a website and an ios app exclusively on the deadly novel coronavirus. The URL of the website is https://www.apple.com/covid19. The app can be downloaded from this link : https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id1504132184
The website and app allows users to screen themselves for coronavirus symptoms. This initiative marks another response to the pandemic by a major tech platform.
The company in a statement said, both the tools are developed in co-operation with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as the White House’s Coronavirus Task Force and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

The app and website include a questionnaire and information about the novel coronavirus.
Apple said it will not collect or store users’ answers to the questionnaire, though it will collect anonymous information about usage of the tools.
On the other hand, another tech giant Google already announced that it would also be launching a website dedicated to the virus. The site is expected to go available soon. Source : CNN
