PGCB (Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Ltd.) opens a job circular to fill up some 416 vacant positions including Assistant Engineer, Assistant Manager, Sub-Assistant Engineer etc. Online application process begins December 14 and ends on January 4, 2024.
As per the latest PGCB Job circular, the company will make the fresh recruitment in all the positions on contractual basis initially for a period of five (5) years.
PGCB Primary Selection (MCQ) Exam Schedule :

As per the circular, the company will recruit people in the following positions :
- Assistant Engineer (77 posts) 2. Assistant Manager (9 posts) 3. Assistant Company Secretary (2 posts) 4. Public Relation Officer (1 post) 5. Assistant Manager (2 posts) 6. Sub-Assistant Engineer (325 posts).
PGCB Job Application Requirements :
Aspirants need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application against their post of choice :
Assistant Manager : BSc in EEE/CSE/Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering from any recognized university.
Assistant Manager : Master’s in Public Administration/HRM/Management/MBA (HRM)/Law obtained from any known university.
Assistant Company Secretary : Master degree in Public Administration/Management/Law/MBA (Finance/Accounting/HRM) from any institution or university approved by the concerned body.
Sub-Assistant Engineer : Having minimum Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Civil/Mechanical/Power/Computer Engineering (4 year-long) obtained from any Polytechnic Institute approved by Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB).

The authority will take Viva and Computer Literacy Tests at the company’s Main Office which is : PGCB Bhaban, Avenue-3, Jahurul Islam City, Aftabnagar, Badda, Dhaka-1212.
