Northern University Bangladesh (NUB) on February 13 held a seminar titled ‘Higher Study Opportunity and Career Tips’ at its permanent campus at Ashkona in the capital’s Uttara. More than 60 Higher Secondary Examinations (HSC) pass students from different colleges in the capital participated in the seminar.
Participating students gathered valuable knowledge about higher education and career prospects both home & abroad.
Vice Chancellor of the university Professor Dr. Anwar Hossain, Pro-Vice Chancellor (D) Prof. Dr. Nazrul Islam, Prof. Md. Raihan-ul-Masood, Head, Department of CSE, Dr. Md. Rakibul Hasan, Head, Department of Bangla, Commodore M Monirul Islam (Retd) BN, Registrar, Md. Zillur Rahman, Chairman Amirjan College and Academic Advisor of NUB, Md. Tanjim Hossain, Head, Department of Textile Engineering, Additional Director Mr. Monwarul Islam Rebel, Mr. Anwarul Islam Khan, Principal, Dhaka Boys and Girls College and Mr. Mohammad Maruf Firoz, CEO, British American Resource Center among others were present at the event.
