Marine Fisheries Academy Admission 2024 : Final Results

Marine Fisheries Academy BSc honors in Marine Fisheries course admission circular for session 2022-2023 open with final results out now. Application deadline was January 16, 2024 instead of December 26, the earlier deadline. 

For the academic year of 2022-23, 44th batch of BSc (honors) in Marine Fisheries course will be conducted, which is under Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University, Bangladesh.

As per the latest notice, the authority asks successful candidates to complete admission from March 3 to 5, 2024. They must report to the Administrative Building from 9 am to 3 pm over the period. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to do the same.

Marine Fisheries Academy BSc Fisheries Admission Requirements : 

Aspirants need to meet the following requirements, among others, to be eligible for application :

1.  Minimum GPA 3.5 in SSC (Science) or ‘O’ level or equivalent exams. 
2. Minimum GPA 3.5 in HSC (Science) or ‘A’ level exams or equivalent exams.
3. At least GPA 3.0 in Biology, Mathematics & English at HSC or equivalent level exams. 

Common Requirements : 

Applicants need to meet the following conditions as well, among others :

1. Age maximum 21 years as on November 26, 2023. 
2. Minimum height for male is 162.5 centimeters and for female, it is 155 centimeters.
3. Weight according to height.
4. Know how to swim or have to overcome swimming demonstration test (this provision applicable for male candidates only). 
5. Unmarried, applied to both male and female candidates. 

6. For male candidates, knowing how to swim is compulsory and they have to demonstrate their ability in swimming along the selection process.

Marine Fisheries Academy BSc Fisheries Test Method : 

Admission Test will have 100 marks MCQ-type questions. The exam will involve four subjects— English & General Knowledge, Biology, Physics & Chemistry–with 20 marks each. 

Written Test will be followed by Viva and Physical Tests. Both Viva and Physical Tests will take place in two phases for which timing will be available in due course of time.

Special Instructions For Candidates : 

1. Aspirants can apply any time of the day over the period. 
2. Candidates have to carry two copies of attested passport size color photos with admission test roll number written on the back of them and admit cards while entering exam centers.
