KUET (Khulna University of Engineering & Technology) Post-Graduate (PG) program admission circular for July 2024 semester is open now. Online application process begins from May 13 and end at 5 pm May 27, 2024.
Besides, applicants must send by post their online Application Form by May 28 with all required documents to ‘Registrar, Khulna University of Engineering & Technology’. Even they can submit the form in-person by the time at the university Education Branch (Post-Graduate).

Application Period :
As mentioned earlier, online application process will run from May 13 to 5 pm May 27, 2024. However, please try to apply with enough time in hand!
Application Fee :
The fee for application for the post-graduate program is Tk. 500 which applicants can deposit till 5 pm May 27. For details, one should visit the related link (https://www.kuet.ac.bd/pgadmission).
Papers to Submit :
During online application, students need to submit the following documents in Zip File format :
- Scan copies of all original (main) academic transcripts or Grade sheets.
- Scan copies of all original (or provisional) academic certificates.
Attention : If applicants fails to submit or upload all the above documents in Zip File format by December 3, 2023, then their application will be considered invalid/incomplete. Please keep that in mind!
Admission Test Date :
As per the circular, the PG Program admission test for July 2024 Semester will take place on June 6, 2024. The timing for the test will be announced later.
Admission Test Results :
The results will be out on June 12 on the university website.

The KUET Post-Graduate Program covers MSc Engineering, MURP, MSc, MPhil and PhD. Under the program, candidates can earn their preferred degree in the following departments—-Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Energy Science & Engineering, Bio-medical Engineering, Urban & Regional Planning, Leather Engineering, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.

The number of seats of Post-Graduate Programs at the university is as follows : CE 50, ESE 25, Physics 35, EEE 50, BME 25, IICT 30, ME 50, URP 25, IDM 30, CSE 50, LE 15, IEPT 25, ECE 30, Math 35, IEM 20, Chemistry 35.

KUET PG Program Admission Requirements :
For PhD Program :
Having M. Engineering/MSc Engineering/MURP/MSc with four year BSc (honors)/MPhil or equivalent degree with CGPA minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 scale and BSc Engineering or equivalent degree with CGPA 2.75 out of 4.0 scale from any recognized institution or university.
For MSc Engineering Program :
BSc Engineering or equivalent degree with CGPA minimum 2.75 out of 4.0 scale from any known institution or university. Besides, they have to have CGPA minimum 3.50 out of 5.0 in both SSC & HSC or their equivalents Or Diploma in Engineering degree with CGPA minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 scale.
For MURP Program :
BURP or equivalent degree with CGPA minimum 2.75 out of 4.0 scale along with CGPA minimum 3.50 out of 5.0 in both SSC & HSC or their equivalents Or Diploma in Engineering degree with CGPA minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 scale.
For MPhil Program :
Applicants need to have post-graduation degree in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from any known institution or university. Furthermore, they need to have BSc (honors or pass degree) and MSc degrees with CGPA minimum 2.75 out of 4.0 scale or at least second class in both levels.
