National University MPhil PhD Admission 2023-2024 : Application June 8 to July 9

National University (NU) MPhil PhD Programs admission circular for academic year 2023-2024 is now open. Initial online application process gets underway from June 8 and ends at 12 pm July 9, 2023.

Online Application Fee :

The fee for online application is Tk.1000 which applicants need to pay by the university’s online gateway or Pay Slip and subsequently print out the application form by July 13, 2023.

NU MPhil & PhD Program Subject Fields :

Interested persons can do MPhil and PhD Programs in the following subject fields :

MPhil Program Subjects :

Arts Group : Bangla, English, Arabic, Sanskrit, Islamic Studies, History, Islamic History & Culture and Philosophy.

Social Science Group : Sociology, Economics, Library & Information Science, Home Economics, Social Welfare and Political Science.

Natural Science Group : Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Statistics.

Life & Earth Science Group : Botany and Zoology.

Business Studies Group : Accounting & Information Systems, Management Studies, Marketing, Finance & Banking, Tourism & Hospitality Management.

PhD Program Subjects :

One can do PhD with National University in the following fields :

Arts : Bangla, English, Arabic, Pali, Sanskrit, Islamic Studies, History, Islamic History & Culture and Philosophy.

Social Science : Sociology, Economics, Library & Information Science, Home Economics and Political Science.

NU MPhil Program Admission Requirements :

Bachelor (honors) and Post-graduation in related subject with minimum 50 percent marks or CGPA 2.50 each along with SSC & HSC each with minimum second class or CGPA 2.75.

But in case of Bangla & English, basic qualification is bachelor (honors) and post-graduation with minimum 50 percent marks or CGPA 2.50 on average.

Besides, those with at least three (3) years of teaching experiences with any college under National University are also eligible for application if they have bachelor (honors) and post-graduation degree with average 50 percent marks or minimum CGPA 2.50.

And for admission in the subject of Tourism & Hospitality Management, those with bachelor (honors) and post-graduation degree in Management and Marketing can also apply for the program.

Or those having post-graduation along with three (3) year-long bachelor (pass) degree with minimum 55 percent marks or CGPA 2.75 in both the exams are eligible as well.

NU PhD Program Admission Requirements :

MPhil or equivalent degree from National University or any public or private university approved by UGC in the country Or Master’s degree obtained from any foreign university with minimum CGPA of 3.00.
