IBA ACMP Admission Circular 2023 : Application Deadline May 31

IBA DU ACMP (Advanced Certificate for Management Professionals) admission circular for Summer 2023 is now open. The latest date to apply online is this May 31, 2023.

Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka has decided to reintroduce the executive training program—ACMP 4.0—after a gap from 2017 to 2020.

The IBA ACMP program aims to train management professionals working in IT/ITeS Industry and IT/ITeS professionals working in any industry.

As per the circular, the IBA authority will run the program now with support from Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC), ICT Division, Ministry of Post, Tele-communication & Information Technology through the Enhancing Digital Governance & Economy (EDGE) Project.

IBA ACMP Eligibility Criteria :

Aspirants need to meet the following qualities, among others, to be eligible for application :

1. Bachelor degree or its equivalent in any field of education with minimum GPA 2.50 out of 4.0 or its equivalent in case of class/division system.
2. GPA minimum 3.0 out of scale 5.0 in SSC & HSC examination or its equivalence for class/division system.
3. Minimum two (2) years of working experiences as Executive in the IT/ITeS industry or as IT/ITeS executive in any other industry after graduation.
4. Applicants with diploma need to contact the authority for equivalence.

The IBA ACMP 4.0 course is designed for management professionals in the IT/ITeS industry. However, IT professionals engaged in other industries can also apply or are encouraged to apply.

 ACMP 4.0 Course Highlights : 

As per the circular, the course features the following things:

1. 120 direct contact hours spreading over three (3) month.
2. Classes to be held in person and/or online during weekends or in the evening during weekdays.

Then the authority will make a shortlist from all applications for assessment test which plays out on rolling basis. Here note that the classes begin in June 2023.

ACMP 4.0 Course Fee :

The actual course fee for the program is Tk.1,75,000. However, the applicant or their employer/sponsor will have to pay only Tk.10,000 as a registration fee since the program has subsidies from the government of Bangladesh.
