IBA DU Executive MBA (EMBA) Admission Circular for Fall 2023 is now open with deadline to apply online being May 23.
As per the circular, the authority will take students for batch no. 38.
DU IBA EMBA Application Eligibility :
Aspirants need to meet the following requirements, among other, to be eligible for application :
- Having minimum four (4) years of university education after HSC or equivalent including bachelor study in any discipline with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 or second class.
- Minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 5.00 in both SSC and HSC Exams or minimum GPA of 2.00 in both O-level and A-level examinations.
- Having at least five (5) years of full-time work experiences as Executive/Grade-9 employee or above level (in case of public sector employments) after bachelor degree.
- Job holders need to produce permission or approval letter from their recruiting authorities to pursue higher studies if they are selected for viva phase.
Attention : For all foreign certificates or degrees beyond O and A-levels, the IBA authority will determine the equivalence. There is no way to sit for the admission test without such equivalence.
Again, those with degree obtained from UGC unapproved programs of any university in the country will be ineligible to apply for the admission test.

IBA DU EMBA Admission Test 2023 :
The admission test of the IBA EMBA Program for Fall 2023 is set to take place on May 26. The exam venue is the institute itself. And the duration of the test is just one hour (1hr).
IBA EMBA Admission Test Method :
The admission test has two parts : Analytical Ability and English Language & Communication. An examinee must secure a minimum qualifying score in both parts to pass the written test and face subsequent interview.
Here note that applicants with foreign nationality and degree or degrees and a valid GMAT score of minimum 75 percentiles may get exemption from written test. But they have to appear before the interview board.
