BIRTAN (Bangladesh Institute of Research & Training on Applied Nutrition) job circular 2024 is open to recruit professionals to 34 posts in nine categories.

As per the circular, the authority will recruit people to the following posts :
- Chief Scientific Officer (Grade 4, 2 posts) 2. Deputy-Director (Grade 5, 1 post) 3. Upper-level Scientific Officer (Grade 6, 2 posts) 4. Programmer (Grade 6, 1 post) 5. Scientific Officer (Grade 9, 22 posts) 6. Assistant Engineer (Grade 9, Electric, 1 post) 7. Assistant Scientific Officer (Grade 10, 3 posts) 8. Deputy-Assistant Engineer (Grade 10, Electric, 1 post) and 9. Deputy-Assistant Engineer (Grade 10, Civil, 1 post).
What Are The Requirements for BIRTAN Job Application?
Interested persons will need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application :
Chief Scientific Officer :
Post-graduation degree in the fields of Nutrition/Home Economics or Food & Nutrition Planning along with MPhil or Master of Professional Studies (MPS) and 17 years of experiences for any government/semi-government or autonomous institution in the field of Applied Nutrition Research & Training. Or
PhD degree in related field plus minimum 15 years of practical experiences in developing or formulating, implementing & managing research projects in the area of applied nutrition.
Besides, minimum eight (8) research publications in science journal on the field of applied nutrition.
Scientific Officer :
Minimum second class (or equivalent CGPA) post-graduation degree or MPhil or Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in the subjects of Nutrition/Food & Nutrition Planning/Home Economics/Food Technology/Biochemistry/Agricultural Science/Botany/Fisheries/Husbandry or Statistics.
In addition, minimum one (1) first class or division or equivalent CGPA across academic life. However, no third class/division or grade is acceptable.
Assistant Engineer (Electric) :
Second class (or equivalent CGPA) bachelor (honors) degree in the subject of Electrical Engineering.
Deputy-Assistant Engineer (Electric) :
Minimum second class Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Deputy-Assistant Engineer (Civil) :
Minimum second class Diploma in the subject of Civil Engineering.
Age Requirements :
For the post under serial no. 1, age limit is 49 years, for posts under serial no. 2 & 3, it is 45 years, for posts under serial no. 4, it is 35 years while for posts under serial no. 5 to 9, required age limit is 30 years to the maximum.

How Much Is Application Fee?
