BHPI (Bangladesh Health Professions Institute, CRP) BSc in Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy and MSc in Physiotherapy courses admission circular for year 2023-2024 is open. For BSc programs, online application deadline is May 14 while for MSc in Physiotherapy course, it is 3 pm on June 5, 2024.
BHPI is a CRP (Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralyzed) Education Institution, which is approved by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and affiliated with the University of Dhaka (DU).
BHPI (CRP) Bachelor Program Courses :
As per the BHPI Admission circular, the authority will admit students for the following courses in the first year bachelor program :
- BSc In Physiotherapy 2. BSc In Speech & Language Therapy 3. BSc In Occupational Therapy (OT) 4. BSc In Prosthetics & Orthotics.
All the courses have a study duration of five years which is split into 4 year academic and 1 year compulsory internship. They are under the Faculty of Medicine, University of Dhaka.
BHPI (CRP) Bachelor Program Admission Requirements :
Aspirants need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application :
- SSC & HSC or their equivalent exams’ combination of GPA minimum 8.0 in science group with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. But GPA must be minimum 3.50, both in SSC or HSC exam.
- SSC or equivalent exam passing year 2020 or 2021 and HSC or its equivalent exam passing year must be 2022 or 2023.
Notably, those who passed SSC or equivalent exam before 2020 and HSC or its equivalent before the year 2022 are not eligible for application.

BHPI (CRP) BSc Admission Test :
The first year BSc courses admission test is scheduled to take place on May 18, 2024. The exam will begin at 10 am and the venue BHPI, CRP, Savar. And the admission test results will be out at 5 pm on May 20.
BHPI (CRP) BSc Admission Test Method :
Admission test results will be based on 200 marks, of which 100 marks goes for SSC & HSC or their equivalent exams’ results secured by candidates.
The rest 100 marks relate to MCQ type written test (MCQ Type)—25 marks each is for Physics, Chemistry & Biology, 15 for English & 10 marks for General Knowledge.
BHPI MSc In Physiotherapy Course Admission Requirements :
Aspirants will must have BSc in Physiotherapy degree with one year of internship obtained from any government approved institution. Admission test of the MSc Course will take place at 11:30 am on June 8, 2024. The exam venue is BHPI, CRP, Savar, Dhaka.
