The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) issues a circular to recruit individuals to non-military posts. Interested individuals need to do registration first by Teletalk prepaid mobile number.
Registration Process : Interested persons need to complete registration with Trade Code (available in the circular), SSC Board Code, Home District Code, Upazilla Name, Freedom Fighter Code by any Teletalk prepaid mobile number. The registration period lasted from March 13 to 17, 2021.
Wanted Posts with Numbers : The positions to which recruitment will be made are the followings :
a. Assistant OBM Driver (male, no. of posts 8) b. Welder (male, no. of posts 2) c. Painter (male, no. of post 3) d. Mason (male, no. of post 1) e. Vulcanizer (male, no. of post 1) and f. Cook (female, no. of posts 5).
To note, persons from all districts in the country are eligible for registration.
Requirements : Interested individuals need to demonstrate the following qualities to be registered :
For Assistant OBM Driver Post : SSC or equivalent pass and specified experiences mentioned in the circular.
For Welder Post : Min JSC or equivalent pass plus 2 years of experiences in relevant fields.
For Painter Post : Having min JSC or equivalent pass plus 2 years of experiences in relevant fields.
For Mason Post : Having min JSC or equivalent pass plus 2 years of experiences in relevant fields.
For Vulcanizer Post : Holding Min JSC or equivalent pass plus 2 years of experiences in relevant fields.
For Cook Post : Min 1 years of experiences in relevant fields.
Common Physical Requirements :
Height : For male candidates, it is 1.524 meter (5 feet). And for female, it is 1.422 meter ( 4 feet 8 inches).
Weight : For male, it is 48.63 kg. And for female, it is 36.36 kg.
Age : For all unmarried general candidates, age must be in between 18-30 years as of July 1, 2021. And for married general candidates, it is min 25 for male and min 19 for female. The age limit for unmarried candidates with links Freedom Fighter is in between 18-32 years. But for the married candidates under this category, it is min 25 years for male and min 19 for female.
