Sheikh Hasina Youth Volunteer Award 2024 circular for finance year 2023-24 is open with deadline to apply now January 15 instead of December 31, 2023.
Attention : As per the original circular, the deadline to apply was December 31, 2023. However, it has been extended to January 15, 2024. For details, please see the deadline extension notice below :
Sheikh Hasina Youth Volunteer Award Categories :
For financial year of 2023-24, the award will be provided for outstanding contributions in the following five (5) categories :
- Youth Development and Employment 2. Education, Science, ICT and Technical 3. Patriotism, Heroism and Bravery 4. Outstanding Contribution to Social Welfare/Best Service to the Elderly and 5. Sports, Arts & Culture.
Notably, each category has three (3) awards, making 15 in total.
Sheikh Hasina Youth Volunteer Award Requirements :
Interested persons need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application :
- Both men-women, aged in between 18 to 45 years, must be Bangladeshi citizens.
- Volunteers involved in social service and development activities with no financial, political gains or benefits.
- One can apply against only one category.
- Anyone convicted in any criminal case is not eligible.
- Those having involvement in anti-state or anti-societal activities are not eligible as well.
- Loan defaulters also are ineligible for application.

Sheikh Hasina Youth Volunteer Award Prize Money :
Selected candidate each under every category will receive one lakh Taka cash or prize bond plus a crest and a certificate.
Sheikh Hasina Youth Volunteer Award Application Process :
Interested persons under Dhaka District (including Dhaka Mahanagar) must apply online in prescribed form which they can collect from the following website :
Applicants under the remaining 63 districts must apply straight in prescribed form to their respective Upazila Executive Officer (UNO).
Here note that applicants under Dhaka District only (including Mahanagar) must forward their application both online and offline.

In case of offline application submission, applicants must attach proper evidence such as relevant certificate, testimonial, picture, video, CD/Pen-drive and other related information.
