JU MSc In CSE Admission Circular 2023 : Application Period July 10 to August 22

JU (Jahangirnagar University) MSc In CSE (Computer Science & Engineering) program admission circular for Fall 2023 is now open. Application process, both online & offline, begins July 10 and ends on August 22.

JU MSc In CSE Program Admission Eligibility :

Aspirants need to meet any of the following criteria, among others, to be eligible for application :

1. BSc (Engineering) in any discipline from any recognized university.
2. Four-year BSc (or three (3) year honors plus one (1) year MSc) in CS/CSE/EEE/IT/ECE/ETE or equivalence.
3. Four-year BSc (or three (3) year honors plus one (1) year MSc) in Physics/Mathematics/Statistics/Geological Science/Environmental Sciences/Chemistry.
4. Four-year BSc (or three (3) year honors plus one (1) year MSc) in any subjects with minimum one (1) year PGD in CSE/IT or equivalence.

Notably, those with third class/division/non-science background or CGPA below 2.50 at any level of academic life are not eligible for application.

The program has the following main features, among others :

1. Trimester system to complete the program in the shortest possible time.
2. Classes to be held on the weekends only.
3. Transport facilities for off-campus students.
4. World class seminar library with latest books and journals.

JU MSC In CSE Program Application Process :

Aspirants can apply either online or offline as part of the admission process into the MSc In CSE program for Fall 2023 :

For offline application, aspirants need to visit the Office of Department during working hours over the period.

Application Fee :

The fee for application is Tk.1000 which applicants can pay in-cash while collecting the application form. Or for online application, they can pay the fee by Dutch Bangla Mobile Banking Service.

Admission Test :

The test involving all eligible applicants will take place on September 1 followed by publication of the results on September 5, 2023.
