Jagannath University offers MA In English (professional program) in the following two fields—MA English In Literature & Cultural Studies and MA English In Applied Linguistics & ELT.
JNU MA English Admission Requirements :
Aspirants need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application :
- Bachelor (honors) in any discipline with six points in total.
- Bachelor (Pass) with one (1) year relevant experiences plus six points in total involving academic qualifications.
JNU MA In English Professional Program Highlights :
The program runs in the following way or style :
- Semester system of 18 months in total but flexible up to sixty (60) months.
- 48 credits but waiver available for eligible candidates.
- Classes will happen on Fridays & Saturdays.

Application Timeline :
As mentioned earlier, the last date to apply online is May 29, 2024. The written test is set to take place on May 31 at 3.00 pm followed by Viva-voce on the same date at 5 pm onwards.
Results of the admission test will be available at 8 pm on June 1. Successful candidates will then need to complete admission & course registration over the period from June 2 to 6, 2024. Orientation and classes are expected to begin from May 7, 2024.
