PISER (Proyash Institute of Special Education & Research) BSc (honors), Bachelor & Master of Education and MSc admission circular for year 2023-2024 is open with application deadline May 16.
PISER is an army institute, situated in Nirjhor Residential Area at Dhaka Cantonment, under Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).
PISER Bachelor BSc M.SEd Admission Requirements :
Aspirants need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application :
BSc (honors) in Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology :
HSC or equivalent level pass in Science group only with GPA combination of SSC & HSC or equivalence minimum 7.0.
N.B : BSc (honors) in Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology is five (5) year-long program with one (1) year internship.
Bachelor of Education (honors) in Special & Inclusive Education :
HSC or equivalent level pass in any group with GPA combination of SSC & HSC or their equivalence minimum 7.0 for science group while for others, it is minimum 6.0.
Attention : Bachelor of Education (honors) in Special & Inclusive Education is a four (4) year-long program.
Masters in Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology :
BSc in Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology/ BSc (honors) in Speech-Language Pathology/ Post-Graduate Diploma in Speech-Language Pathology with CGPA minimum 2.75 out of scale 4.0 or second class, obtained from a recognized university or institute. Besides, SSC & HSC with second class/division or GPA 3.0 out of 5.0.
Master of Special Education (M.SEd) :
One (1) year BSEd or BEd (3/4 year honors) in Special Education or four-year BEd honors in special & inclusive education with CGPA minimum 2.50 out of 4.0 or second class from any recognized university.
In addition, SSC & HSC with second class/division or GPA 3.0 out of 5.0 in each exam.

Application Fee :
The application fee varies from program to program. For Bachelor (honors) program like BSc in Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology, the fee is Tk.750 while for Masters in Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology, it is Tk.1500 and Tk.1,000 for Master of Special Education (M.SEd).
Admission Test Date :
The written test for BSc (honors) in Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology and Bachelor of Education (honors) programs will take place at 11 am on May 18 followed by viva on May 19 to 23, 2024.
And for Master of Special Education and Masters in Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology programs, written test will be at 11 am on May 24 followed by viva on May 26-28, 2024.
