Details On BGDCL Circular 2023 :
As per the circular, the authority will recruit people to the following positions :
- Assistant Engineer (no. of post 21) 2. Assistant Manager (Technical, no. of post 5) 3. Assistant Manager (General, no. of post 22) 4. Assistant Manager (Accounts/Revenue/Audit, no. of post 10) 5. Deputy Assistant Engineer (no. of post 11) 6. Assistant Officer (Technical, no. of post 2) 7. Assistant Officer (General, no. of post 1) 8. Assistant Officer (Accounts/Revenue/Audit, no. of post 4).
BGDCL Job Requirements :
Aspirants need to meet the following conditions against their preferred position :
For Assistant Engineer Post : Having BSc Engineering degree in related field or subjects Or Diploma in-Engineering in relevant subjects with five (5) years of experiences in any government/semi-government or autonomous institutions or agency. In addition, having at least one first class or equivalent GPA or CGPA in entire academic life with no third class or GPA. And age needs to be maximum 30 years as on March 25, 2020.
For Assistant Manager (Technical) Post : The same as what is for Assistant Engineer post.
For Assistant Manager (General) Post : Having first class post-graduation Or second class bachelor honors with second class post-graduation Or second class four year honors degree. Besides, having at least one first class or equivalent GPA or CGPA in entire academic life with no third class or GPA. And age needs to be maximum 30 years as on March 25, 2020.
For Assistant Manager (Accounts/Revenue/Audit) Post : Having first class post-graduation in Business Studies Or second class bachelor honors with second class post-graduation in related subjects/CA (at least knowledge level)/ICMA (Professional Level-1)/MBA or second class four year honors degree in related subjects.
Furthermore, applicants have to have at least one first class or equivalent GPA or CGPA in entire academic life with no third class or GPA. And age needs to be maximum 30 years as on March 25, 2020.
For Assistant Officer (Technical) Post : BSc Degree with age not exceeding 30 years as on March 25, 2020. In addition, having at least one first class or equivalent GPA or CGPA with no third class or GPA in entire academic life.
For Assistant Officer (General) Post : Having post-graduation/second class four year honors degree Or bachelor degree with at least three (3) years of experiences in administrative area with any government/semi-government or autonomous institution or agency.
In addition, having at least one first class or equivalent GPA or CGPA with no third class or GPA in entire academic life. BSc And age does not exceed 30 years as on March 25, 2020.
Notably, for applicants related to freedom fighter or martyred freedom fighter and the disabled, the age can be maximum 32 years as on March 25, 2020.

As mentioned earlier, online application process is set to commence from May 21. And the deadline to apply is 5 pm June 19.
Application Fee :
The fee for application varies on job positions. For the job positions under serial number 1 to 4, the application fee is Tk.667 with TeleTalk service charge while it is Tk.556 with service charge.
Applicants can deposit the fee through SMS by any Teletalk Prepaid Mobile number within 72 hours of application submission. Beyond the time, the authority will not receive any applications.
