The form fill-up process of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exam 2022, scheduled to begin on June 29, under Dhaka Education Board has been suspended, says a notice issued on June 27 from the authority.
The suspension came just two days after the announcement of the form fill-up process. This is the second time that the schedule of HSC 2021 form fill-up has been suspended and changed.
According to the earlier notice issued on June 25, the last date to fill up forms was July 11, 2021..
According to the notice signed by Exam Controller Prof S. M Amirul Islam, students and their respective educational institutions need to do the form fill-ups online this year due to the covid-19 situation in the country.
As per the circular, the form fill-up fee is Tk. 2,500 for Science Group students while it is Tk. 1,940 for Humanities and Business Group students.
The circular adds that like the previous year of 2020, this year also there will be no test exam involving prospective candidates of the exam, still in uncertainty because of the pandemic. Those intending to appear in improvement exams for one or more subjects will also not be required to take the test, decided not to be held by the authority, added the notice.
According to an earlier notice issued from the board on June 24, the form fill-up of HSC 2022 students was expected to begin from June 21 and continue until June 27. The decision has been revised in just one day apart.
