Main certificate distribution of successful candidates of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Exam 2020 begins June 20. It will go on until July 7, 2021, says a notice issued by Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka on June 17.
According to the notice, authorities of all secondary educational institutions under the board will be able to collect their students’ SSC certificates from 6th floor (Lift-5) of Building No. 4 at the board from 10 to 4 on every working day over the period.
The notice, signed by Deputy Exam Controller (Certificate) Md. Helal Uddin, adds that authorities of institutions under Narayanganj District can collect their students’ certificates on June 20 followed by Faridpur District on June 21, Munshiganj on June 22, Rajbari on June 23, Gopalganj on June 24, Narsingdi on June 27, Manikganj on June 28, Shariatpur District on June 29, Madaripur District on June 30, Gazipur District on July 1, Dhaka District on July 4, Dhaka Metropolitan (Mohanagar) on July 4, Tangail District on July 6 and that of Kishoreganj District on July 7.
It should be noted that SSC or its equivalent examinations for academic year 2020 were to be cancelled due to the then Covid-19 situation in the country. Therefore, all prospective candidates were awarded ‘Auto-pass’ under an ordinance passed by the Parliament and signed by the President.
