The positions to which the power company authority will recruit people are the followings :
1. Assistant Engineer (27 posts; Electrical 18, Mechanical 5, Civil 1 & Computer 3) and 2. Deputy Assistant Engineer (21 posts; Electrical 14, Mechanical 4, Civil 1 & Computer 2).

Job seekers need to meet the following requirements to be eligible for application against their preferred posts :
For Assistant Engineer Posts :
1. Having Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronic Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Science & Engineering/Electrical & Computer Engineering from any recognized university/Engineering College.
2. In case of grading result system, applicants must have CGPA at least 4.0 out of scale 5.0 and 3.0 in the scale of 4.0. No third class/division/grade is acceptable.
3. Having skills in computer operation and Bengali and English, both formal and oral.

For Deputy Assistant Engineer Posts :
1. Having Diploma In Engineering in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering/Computer Technology from any recognized Polytechnic Institutes.

They have to apply by providing all required information in ‘Online Application Form’ along with signature & photographs being pasted in specified location there.
Application Fee :
The fee for application for Assistant Engineer post is Tk.800 while it is Tk.700 for Deputy Assistant Engineer post.
Applicants need to pay the fee through Dutch Bangla Bank Mobile banking service. Details about fee payment are available at the above mentioned websites.

Along with application form, applicants for the Assistant Engineer post need to attach the following documents :
Two (2) copies of fresh passport sized photographs, photocopies of SSC, HSC & B.Sc Engineering and National ID Cards. And for the Deputy Assistant Engineer post, applicants should submit two (2) copies of freshly taken passport size photographs and certificates of SSC, Diploma Engineering and National ID Cards.
