BGB Job Circular 2024 : Application Period March 15 to 24

BGB (Border Guards Bangladesh) GD 102 Batch circular is open to recruit men & women as soldiers (Sipahi) with application process beginning 10 am March 15, 2024. And the deadline to apply is 24 pm March 24. 

Attention : This article also contains Bangladesh Army Sainik Trade 2 (Special Profession) job circular 2024. Online application has begun March 14 and ends on April 5, 2024.

BGB GD Batch Requirements :

Interested people will need to meet the following requirements, among others, to be eligible for applications :

1. SSC or equivalent exam pass with minimum GPA-3.00 and HSC or equivalent exam with GPA 2.50 minimum.
2. Age should be in between 18-23 as on July 14, 2024. Birth date must be in between July 15, 2001 to July 14, 2006. In case of age requirements, no affidavit will be acceptable.
3. Being unmarried, applicable to both men and women. Widow or widower is not eligible also.

4. Height : For male, height is 5 feet 6 inches (1.676 meter) while it is 5 feet 2 inches (1.574 meter) for female. However, for tribal male candidates, height needs to be minimum 5 feet 4 inches (1.625 meter) while it is 5 feet (1.524 meter) for tribal female candidates.

5. Weight : For male, weight needs to be 110 pounds (49.895 kg) while it is 104 pounds (47.173 kg) for female candidates. However, for tribal male candidates, weight requirement is min 104 pounds (47.173 kg) while it is 96 pounds (43.544 kg) for tribal female applicants.

6. Eyesight is 6/6 which is applicable to both male and female candidates.

7. Swimming : Knowing how to swim is mandatory for both male and female applicants. Otherwise, they will not be able to get entry into the force.

The registration fee is Tk. 160 with service charge which applicants can pay by their debit or credit cards or any mobile banking service.

Ways To Recover Registration Number :

If any applicant lose his or her registration number, then they can recover it by SMS to 162222 through any Teletalk prepaid mobile number in the following way :

BGB space SOLDIER space HELP space SSC Board Keyword space SSC Roll space Passing Year space Home District Code space Upazila Name. Then send the SMS to 16222.

Papers Required For Entry Into Border Guards Bangladesh :

Selected candidates need to submit the following papers or documents when it comes to admission or entry into the force :

  1. Original or Provisional (where applicable) Certificates of SSC and HSC or their equivalent examinations.
  2. Testimonial with candidates’ permanent address and date of birth with relation to HSC & SSC or their equivalent exam pass, issued by Principal/Head-teacher of concerned college or school and bearing candidate’s permanent
  3. Parents or Guardian’s approval for joining the Service, attested by concerned Chairman or Ward Commissioner.
  4. Nationality Certificate issued by Union Parishad/Municipality Chairman/Ward Commissioner.
  5. Character Certificate from concerned authority.
  6. Eleven copies of fresh passport size lab-printed photographs with Blue background. Of the photos, just one copy will need attestation by Union Parishad Chairman or Ward Commissioner and ten copies without attestation.
  7. Unmarried Certificate (stating that the concerned candidate is unmarried) issued by Union Parishad/Municipality Chairman/Ward Commissioner.
  8. Original copy and attested photocopy of National Identity Card.
  9. Filled-up form of Admission-aspirants’ Information Form (which is available at the following link and can be downloaded from there) : https://joinborderguard.bgb.gov.bd. In other words, applicants have to carry their properly filled up application form, which they can download and print, during the time of entry into the force.

During the entry into BGB, selected candidates have to follow the below mentioned things or rules :

1. Have to carry the mobile phone set with the SIM number they provided during registration. In this case, confirmation message or forwarding message from BGB authority will not be acceptable.

2. Messages carrying wrong information will not be entertained and thereby being considered as disqualifications of candidature.

3. Applicants from one district will be ineligible for entry into the force under any other districts.

4. Dismissal from any other forces earlier such as Armed Forces, BGD itself, Bangladesh Ansar etc. will be considered as disqualification for candidates.

5. Candidates with Driving Licenses and computer skills will receive preference in landing jobs.

BGB Soldier (Sipahi) Recruitment Process :

Aspirants for the post of Sipahi must go through three steps recruitment process–Primary Medical Exam, Written Test and Final Medical Test. Besides, successful candidates out of all the three steps must pass Verification Report (VR) by any specific government agency before getting recruitment letter. Admission Place & Time :

Applicants will get notification of the place and time of admission as soldiers by SMS to their mobile numbers from the authority. So the authority advised them to keep their mobile number (which they used for registration or form fill-ups) always active so that they can get and see any notifications in time.

How To Get Written Test Admit Cards?

The authority will notify candidates of the written test admit card by SMS to their mobile number in time ahead of the exam. Then they will require to log-in the BGB website (https://joinborderguard.bgb.gov.bd) with User ID & Password to get the admit card. Note that you have to carry printed admit card to the exam venue. 

District Quota :

Recruitment as soldier is also available from District Quota. So applicants need to mention their district properly while doing registration. But the number of people to be recruited under district quota is limited.
