East West University MSc in CSE Requirements :
Admission aspirants need to meet the following conditions to be eligible for application for admission :
- Four year-long Bachelor degree in any of the following disciplines with minimum CGPA 2.5 on a scale of 4.0 or equivalence from any recognized institution: Computer Science and Engineering/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Software Engineering/ Information and Communications Engineering/ Equivalent. ii. Any engineering discipline with calculus, statistics, and programming (pre-requisite course(s) needed).
- Any physical/mathematical/biological science discipline with calculus, statistics, and programming (pre-requisite course(s) needed).
- HSC or equivalent from science group with GPA minimum 2.50 plus GPA minimum 2.50 in SSC or equivalent exam. Or
- University of London and Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level in at least five subjects and ‘A’ Level in at least two subjects. Only the best five subjects in ‘O’ Level and best two subjects in ‘A’ Level will be considered. Out of these seven subjects, a candidate must have at least 4B’s or GPA of 4.00 in the four subjects and 3 C’s or GPA of 3.5 in the remaining three subjects. (in the scale of A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2 and E=1).
Notably, aspirants will have to sit for an admission test, administered by the university, and pass the test.
EWU MSc in CSE Majors :
The university’s Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering (MS in CSE) program has four major areas : Data Science, Software Engineering, Networking & Systems Engineering.
Aspiring student will have to declare her/his major area during admission into the program. However, a student can change major area before the start of the second semester with permission.
East West University MSc in CSE Cost/Tuition Fee :
The total cost or tuition fee for MS in CSE program at the university currently stands at around Tk.2,21,000.
Of the amount, admission fee is Tk.15k, tuition fees Tk.2 lakhs (Tk.5k for each credit given 40 credits total) and lab & activities fee Tk.6k.
However, as East West University currently has a merit scholarship scheme worth up to Tk.11 crore, so there is a chance to get a slice of it!

EWU MS in CSE Program Length :
The length of the program is three (3) semesters spreading over one year. However, any student may take up to 15 semesters (stretching into five years maximum) to complete the degree.
Besides, a student can pursue the MS in CSE program in either of two tracks : Thesis Track & Project Track
But students will have to declare her/his study track during enrollment into the program. However, a student can change her/his study track during the progress of the program with permission from the authority.
