DSCC Job Circular 2023 : Viva Routine Up!

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) opens a job circular to fill up some 61 vacant positions in various fields. Online application process ended on June 15, 2023. Viva exam schedule for Office Assistant cum Computer Typist is available now. Please check below! 

Separately, there has been another job circular from DSCC through which the authority will recruit professionals in the position of Assistant Accounts Officer (4 posts) and Accountants (2 posts). The deadline to apply for these posts was 5 pm July 9, 2023

DSCC Viva Schedule For Office Assistant Cum Computer Typist Post :

As per the schedule, the viva exam begins from January 30 and ends on February 8, 2024. The exam timing is 3 pm on each

date. 

Viva Routine (Revised) for Assistant Accounts Officer :

Viva exam for the post of Assistant Accounts Officer begins on January 3 and ends on January 17, 2024. For details, please see the notice below : 

DSCC Vacancy In Details :

As per the circular, the authority will recruit people for the following positions :

1. Assistant Engineer (Civil, 10 posts) 2. Assistant Engineer (Power, 3 posts) 3. Assistant Engineer (Mechanical, 1 post) 4. Deputy Assistant Engineer (Civil, 34 posts) 5. Deputy Assistant Engineer (Mechanical, 4 posts) and 6. Deputy Assistant Engineer (Power, 9 posts).

DSCC Job Application Requirements :

Aspirants need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application against their post of choice :

Assistant Engineer (Civil) Post :

Having Bachelor or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering with minimum second class or equivalent CGPA from any recognized university. Age needs to be in between 18 to 30 years as on May 1, 2023.

Assistant Engineer (Power) Post :

Bachelor or equivalent degree in EEE or Power Engineering with minimum second class or equivalent CGPA from any recognized university. Age needs to be in between 18 to 30 years as on May 1, 2023.

Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) Post :

Bachelor or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum second class or equivalent CGPA from any recognized university. Age needs to be in between 18 to 30 years as on May 1, 2023.

Deputy Assistant Engineer (Civil) Post :

Possession of Diploma in Civil Engineering from any recognized Technical Institute or educational institute. Age needs to be in between 18 to 30 years as on May 1, 2023.

Deputy Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) Post :

Holding Diploma in Mechanical/Power or Automobile Engineering degree from any recognized Technical Institute or educational institute. Age needs to be in between 18 to 30 years as on May 1, 2023.

Assistant Accounts Officer Post :

Bachelor or equivalent degree with minimum second class or equivalent CGPA in any subjects under Faculty of Business Studies from any recognized university. 

Accountant Post :

Bachelor or equivalent degree with minimum second class or equivalent CGPA in any subjects under Faculty of Business Studies from any recognized university. Besides, having experiences in accounts related activities.

Deputy Assistant Engineer (Power) Post :

Diploma in Power or EEE Engineering from any recognized Technical Institute or educational institute. Age needs to be in between 18 to 30 years as on May 1, 2023.

Application Time :

Online application process has already begun from 10 am May 24. The last date and time to apply is 5 pm June 15, 2023. 

Application Fee :

The fee for application varies from post to post. As per the circular, for the positions under serial number 1 to 3, the fee is Tk. 1000 while it is Tk.700 for the posts under serial number 4 to 6.

Applicants Need To Maintain These Things Also :

Job aspirants need to maintain these following things, among others, as well :

1. No affidavit will be accepted as proof of age.

      2. Those in-service with any government/semi-government or autonomous agency or institutions must apply with approval from their respective employer.

      3. During viva exam, all in-job candidates must submit original copy of NOC (No Objection Certificate) issued by their employer.

     4. In the application form, applicants must mention their name, father or husband’s name, mother’s name, permanent address, present address, nationality, religion, birth date, age, district name, qualifications and experiences (if any).

     5. During viva exam, applicants must produce original copies of all academic certificates. Besides, they have to submit one set of attested copies of all certificates along with printed copy of filled-up online application form.

    6.Along with application form, they also will have to submit attested copies of nationality certificate issued by Union Parishad Chairman/Municipality Mayor/City Corporation Ward Councilor/Commissioner and National ID Card or Birth Registration Certificate.

   7.Applicants have to show NIDs of their own and parents or guardians during viva exam.
