Biman Circular for Captain 2023: Age Maximum 60

Biman opens a circular to recruit captains for its Boeing-737 aircraft. The recruitment will be initially for just one (1) year, subject to renewal. As per the circular, interested individuals must apply within 15 days from the date of publication of the circular (March 9, 2023). On that count, the deadline to apply is March 24, 2023.

Biman Captain Job Requirements :

Interested individuals must meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application for Boeing-737 Aircraft Captain post : 

1. Being citizen of Bangladesh.
2. Age maximum 60 (sixty) years.
3. CAAB ATPL License.
4. Relevant valid flying license and valid class-1 medical certificate.
5. Minimum flying experience of 4000 hours involving multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft.
6. Having PIC experiences of at least 1000 hours on multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft.
7. Minimum PIC of 500 hours on Type B-737 (Boeing-737NG PIC will receive priority.
8. Fluency in both written and spoken English, equivalent to ICAO English level 4 or above.
9. No accident or accident reports in which he or she held responsible within the last five years.
10. No affidavit will be acceptable in proof of date of birth.

Biman Captain Job Salary or Benefits :

The authority offers the following benefits for the post of Captain for Boeing-737 Aircraft :

1. Attractive salary or remuneration and other privileges, though the exact amount of unknown. However, suitable candidates can negotiate on salary and other benefits.
2. Selected candidates will bear all relevant taxes.

Attention : Selected candidates will have to sign an agreement and a surety bond separately on non-judiciary stamp of Tk.1000 each.

1. Resume/CV with mentions of post, total hours of flying, total hours on multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft experience, breakdown of hours by type of aircraft. 
2. 4 copies of recent passport size color photographs. 
3. Copy of valid ATPL
4. Copy of NID and valid passport. 
5. Copy of valid class-1 medical certificates. 
6. Copy of last two (2) pages of updated log book. 
7. Other relevant documents/certificates/licenses viii. Last 2 copies of log book page.
8. Copy of last 3 valid Pilot Proficiency Checks (PPC).

Biman Captain (Dash8 Q400 Aircraft) Job Requirements :

1. Being a Bangladeshi citizen.
2. Age being not over 57 years.
3. Flying experience of minimum 2000 hours.
4. Holder of ATPL and valid class-1 medical fitness certificate issued or endorsed by Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB).
5. Carrying no accident/incident records.
6. Upon selection, candidates from other airlines must provide NOC before joining.
7. No affidavit is acceptable in the case of date of birth.
