Australian government has announced calls to recruit skilled professionals from Bangladesh for Horticulture Sector. Interested individuals first need to do registration for database inclusion purpose through Google Form with last date being July 31.
The Skilled professionals recruitment initiative is under New Laborer Agreement Stream between the governments of Bangladesh and Australia.
Recruitment Visa Programs : Australia will take in skilled professionals through the following Visa Programs under the agreement : 1. TSS (Temporary Skill Shortage ) Visa 2. ENS (Employee Nomination Scheme) Visa and 3. SESR (Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional) Visa Program.
Professionals Eligible For Registration : The following professionals are eligible to do registration for skilled professionals programs of the Australian Government :
1. Irrigation Designer/Manager 2. Agronomist 3. Entomologist 4. Horticulture Grower 5. Protected Cropping Grower 6. Horticulture Research & Development Officer 7. Mechanical Engineer 8. Horticulture Farm Manager 9. Quality Assurance Manager 10. Biosecurity Officer 11. Facility Plant Manager 12. Facility Supervisor 13. Maintenance Electrician 14. Fitter & Welder 15. Agriculture Technician 16. Mechanic 17. Senior Nurseryperson 18. Nurseryperson 19. Nursery Supervisor 20. Truck Driver 21. Mobile Plant Operator 22. Fork Lift Driver 23. Irrigationist 24. Irrigationist Assistant 25. Horticulture Section Manager 26. Section Supervisor 27. Production Horticulture Supervisor 28. Production Horticulturist 29. Machinery Manager 30. Machinery Supervisor 31. Cold Storage Manager.
Requirements : For registration, qualified persons need to fulfill some conditions for each post alongside basic educational qualifications and work experiences. The conditions are the followings :
1. Having min 5.5 Band Score in IELTS.
2. Age not being over 45.
