87th BMA Long Course : Written Test Result Now Out

The written test result of 87th Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA) Long Course has got published. The test was held on June 18 following application process which lasted from March 5 to May 22, 2021.

ISSB Test Date : Candidates qualified in the written test will now require to appear in the Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) for Test/Interview which is scheduled to begin from August 22, 2021. Candidates are requested to regularly visit ISSB Website (www.issb-bd.org) for their test or interview dates. The board will also issue separate call-up letters in phases to the name of candidates.

ISSB Exams : Successful candidates from the Written Test will now require to appear before ISSB at Dhaka Cantonment on specified dates which will be published in due time along the process on the following website (http://www.issb-bd.org).

Special Instructions : There are some special instructions for applicants :

  1. For basic military trainings, applicants (should say finally selected ones) are advised to learn how to swim before joining Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA).
  2. 2. Aspirants from Cadet Colleges, BNCC and MCSK have to apply through their respective institutions or Regiments.

Basic Application Requirements For 87th BMA Long Course : Aspirants must meet the following requirements among others:

  1. Age being in between 17-21 as of January 1, 2022. But for those involved in Armed Forces Services, it is 18-23.
  2. GPA-5 in any of SSC and HSC exams but min GPA-4.5 in other one. For English Medium Students, A Grade in 3 subjects & B Grade in other 3 subjects in 6 ‘O’-level Subjects.
  3. Being unmarried and citizen of Bangladesh. And in ‘A-Level exams, minimum B Grade in both 2 subjects.
  4. Height for male is 1.63 meter (5 foot 4 inch) and for female, it is 1.57 meter (5 foot 2 inch).
  5. Weight for male is 54 kg and for female it is 47 kg.
  6. Bangladeshi Citizen by birth.

Primary Selection Test : This test, consisted of initial Medical & Oral exams, taken place from May 30 to June 3 at different cantonments in the country.

Written Test Date : Primarily selected candidates sat for written test consisted of Bangla, English, General Math and General Science. The test was held on June 18.
