Bangladesh Army 82nd DSSC (AMC) and 68th DSSC (ADC) Circular 2023 is now open with deadline to apply being July 29, 2023. Both Bangladeshi male and female meeting certain requirements are eligible for application.
Army Medical Core (both male & Female) Job Requirements :
Aspirants need to meet the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application :
- Having MBBS degree from any government recognized medical college with completion of internship.
- HSC : GPA 5.00 in HSC or equivalent exam. For English medium students, ‘A’-grade in one subject while it is ‘B’-grade in another subject.
- SSC : GPA-5.0 in SSC or equivalent exam. For those from English medium background, ‘A’-grade in three subjects while it is ‘B’-Grade in other three subjects.
Army Dental Core (both Male & Female) Job Requirements :
Job seekers need to fulfill the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application :
- Having BDS degree from any government recognized medical or dental college with completion of internship.
- HSC : GPA 5.00 in HSC or equivalent exam. For English medium students, ‘A’-grade in one subject while it is ‘B’-grade in another subject.
- SSC : GPA-5.0 in SSC or equivalent exam. For those from English medium background, ‘A’-grade in three subjects while it is ‘B’-Grade in other three subjects.
Marital Status, both AMC & ADC :
Male : Unmarried. However, those whose age will be above 26 years as on January 1, 2024 will also be eligible for application if they are married.
Female : Both married and unmarried.
Age Requirements, both AMC & ADC :
Age can be maximum 28 years as on January 1, 2024. And all applicants must be Bangladeshi citizen by birth.
Common Physical Measurements :
Height : For male, the height is 5 feet 4 inches (1.63 meter) while it is 5 feet 1 (one) inches (1.55 meter).
Weight : It is 57 kg (126 pound) for male white for female it is 49 kg (109 pound).

Bangladesh Army AMC & ADC Selection Process :
The selection process involves Written Test, Primary Health & Viva exam, ISSB Exam and Final selection.
Written Test :
As per the circular, the written test is scheduled to take place at 9 am on August 4, 2023 at Shaheed Ramij Uddin Cantonment College, Dhaka Cantonment. The results of test are expected to be out in the fourth week of the August, 2023.

Primary Health & Viva Exam :
The primary health & viva exam involving only successful candidates from the written test will take place from September 3 to 14 at DGMS Office, Dhaka Cantonment.
During viva exam, candidates must produce original certificates and mark-sheets of all academic examinations such as SSC/O-level, HSC/A-level, MBBS/BDS, Internship, BMDC Registration Card, FCPS-Part-1 if available and Call-Up Letter. Otherwise their candidacy will be invalid.

Training & Commission :
Finally selected candidates will go through a ten week period of training at Bangladesh Military Academy (BMA). Individuals who would finish the training period successfully will be commissioned to the ‘Rank of Major’.
Special Instructions :
For the need of basic military training, applicants are advised to learn how to swim before joining Bangladesh Military Academy.
Available Salary and Benefits :
Finally selected individuals will be entitled to salary and other benefits as per the existing Armed Forces Salary Scale. Besides, their children will be able to study in Cadet Colleges, Armed Forces Medical College, Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) and other institutions run by Bangladesh Army.
