Department of Land Records & Surveys (DLRS), the government of Bangladesh opens a job circular to fill some 3017 posts under 15 categories including Computer Operator, Draftsmen, Surveyor, Chainman, Office Assistant etc. Online application process begins from March 24 and ends on April 30, 2024.

As per the circular, the authority will recruit people to the following posts :
- Short-hand Typist cum Computer Operator (5 post) 2. Surveyor (272 posts) 3. Travers Surveyor (10) 4. Computor (13 posts) 5. Draftsman-cum area estimator cum seat keeper (295 post) 6. Driver (12 post) 7. Nazir-cum Cashier (17 posts) 8. Office Assistant cum Computer Typist (21 posts) 9. Peskar (378 post) 10. Record Keeper (291 posts) 11. Khariz Sahakari (478 posts) 12. Mohorar (422 posts) 13. Copyist cum Bench Assistant (480) 14. Office Assistant (182 posts) and 15. Chainman (145).
Vacancy as per the earlier job circular : Short-hand Typist cum Computer Operator (Grade 13, 2 post) 2. Computer Operator (Grade 13, 5 posts) 3. Draftsmen (Grade 15, 2 posts) 4. Assistant Record Keeper (Grade 16, 1 post) 5. Office Assistant cum Computer Typist (Grade 16, 1 post) 6. Store Keeper (1 post) 7. Sub-Surveyor (Grade 16, 21 posts) 8. Computor (Grade 16, 30 posts) 9. Boundary Amin (13 posts) 10. Zinc Corrector (2 post) 11. Printer (3 posts) and 12. Accounts Assistant (Grade 16, 1 post).
DLRS Job Requirements :
Interested persons will need to fulfill the following conditions, among others, to be eligible for application :
Short-hand Typist cum Computer Operator :
Second class (or equivalent CGPA) bachelor or equivalent degree obtained from any recognized university with skills in computer operation. Short-hand typing speed must be per minute 80 words in English & 50 words in Bangla.
Computer typing speed must be minimum 30 words in English & 25 words in Bangla per minute. Besides, aspirants have to pass Standard Aptitude Test in related subject.
Computer Operator :
Bachelor (honors) or equivalent degree in Science Group, obtained from any recognized university. Typing speed per minute must be minimum 30 words in English & 25 words in Bangla. Besides, aspirants have to pass Standard Aptitude Test in related subject.
Draftsmen :
Minimum second class (or equivalent GPA) HSC or equivalent level under any education board. Besides, six (6) months-long Civil Drafting course certificate obtained from any institute of academy under any technical education board.
Sub-Surveyor :
Four year-long Diploma in Engineering (Surveying) Certificate obtained from any Survey Institute under the Technical Education Board.
Residents from the Districts of Shariatpur, Kishoregani, Chandpur, Cumilla, Rajshai, Sirajganj, Kurigram, Bhola & Patuakhali are not eligible for application for this post.

Age Requirements :
For all general candidates, age range is in between 18 to 30 years as on March 24, 2024. However, for those related to freedom fighter or martyred freedom fighter and the disabled, it is 32 years to the max as on the same date. No affidavit is acceptable in support of age.

DLRS Job Application Process :

Application Period :
As mentioned above, online application process begins from 10 am March 24. And the last date & time to apply is 5 pm April 30, 2024.
Application Fee :
Applicants have to pay Tk.223 including service charge as Exam Fee by SMS through any Teletalk prepaid mobile number within 72 hours of application submission. The amount is applicable to all the posts.
Written Test Admit Card :
Any information regarding admit card will be available in this website http://dlrs.teletalk.com.bd
The authority will also inform only primarily eligible candidates of their admit cards by SMS in due course of time. So they have to keep their mobile number active (which they provided while filling up online application form).
