City University opens a job circular to recruit a host of faculty members for various departments. Deadline to apply is July 22, 2023.
As per the circular, the authority will recruit professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor & Lecturer for the following departments :
Business, Pharmacy, CSE, EEE, Mechanical Engineering, Textile, English, Law, Agriculture and GED (Mathematics, Statistics, Physics & Sociology).
The authority will also recruit Lab Instructor for Science Faculty only.
City University Job Requirements :
According to the circular, job seekers need to meet the following conditions against their post of choice :
Professor Post :
Preferably PhD in the relevant field from a recognized university with minimum 12 years of full-time teaching experiences at university level. Besides, they have to have minimum number of publications as required by UGC for professor positions.
Notably, retired professor from any public/private university will enjoy preference in landing the job.
Lecturer Post :
Masters degree with honors or equivalent degree in related field with minimum CGPA 3.5 out of scale 4.0. Those with BSc (Honors) degree in engineering subjects must have minimum CGPA 3.5 or three (3) first class. Notably, publications will render extra advantages for securing the faculty position.
